As New York grapples with a wave of deadly shootings and violent lawlessness, Mayor Bill de Blasio has reportedly devoted three shifts of nine police officers to protecting the Black Lives Matter mural in front of Trump Tower. This lunacy has real consequences. Residential and commercial real estate values are declining rapidly in New York City. Much of Manhattan ground retail space remains closed and boarded. Many who can have left or are planning to leave permantly. Unless absolutely necessary to locate in New York businesses are investing elsewhere. Predict in one year the number of shootings and violent deaths will increase over 400% compared to 2018 levels. Also predict NYC will lose over 600.000 of its more prosperous residents. This is the legacy of Democrat marxists.

It’s graffiti, not a mural. He has assigned the cops to guarding graffiti. Probably he yearns for the old days under Dinkins when the subway cars were all graffiti all the time. Well, at least , he has succeeded in getting crime rates up to the Dinkins level as he has “dinkinized” the city
Because not enough cops to cover all that crime so the ones they do have can do menial stuff like this. Maybe Hollyweird could make a movie about all the people trying to leave NYC.
