The US Supreme Court on Thursday blocked a lower-court ruling that would have allowed residents of Alabama to vote by absentee ballot without providing a copy of a photo ID.
Alabama also requires the absentee ballot to be signed by two witnesses or notarized.
Abdul Kallon also said Alabama could not forbid local officials from allowing ‘curbside’ voting during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The case deals with Alabama’s July 14 runoff election, which was postponed from March due to the pandemic and includes a Republican Senate primary between onetime U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former college football coach Tommy Tuberville.
This is why we need four more years of patriotic judicial appointments - to stop the Obama judges from legislating from the bench.

This is an amazing ruling if the courts can no longer stop voter ID... especially if it can be applied with absentee & mail-ins.

LOL. Not common but I will say I am seeing muslim women occasionally at the park. They come as a group of four or more women with all their children. Never any men. Sometimes I’ve noticed they come together in one or more large white vans.
They look absolutely ridiculous in their garb in this heat. But the kids dress normally and grateful for that.

Curbsise is needed sometimes: I shattered my ankle, had my leg and ankle in an external fixator, in lots of pain, bedridden, had a friend drive me to the polls and while waiting outside in his vehicle, he got a poll watcher to bring me a ballot and I voted and gave it back to the poll watcher (another poll watcher was watching), and then I took more pain meds and was out.
