Fringe activists set up a guillotine in front of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s home in Washington, D.C., on Sunday where they reportedly demanded that Amazon be abolished. One of the demonstrators said on a bullhorn in front of Bezos’s home, “it is still exploitation and when they become threatened, and we have no voice, the knives come out.”

Thanks to Amazon, I was able to move from Seattle to rural KY and have the exact same shopping experience.
Amazon makes it possible for people to leave the city and, other than traffic and the Starbucks within walking distance, life goes on the same as in the city. I think it’s one of the reasons, coupled with the WFH phenomenon finally ramping up, that we will see a lot of people leaving the city for rural life. It’s practical now.
The guillotine was an instrument used to bring down white privilege - well mostly the real enemy - revolutionaries who weren’t quite radical enough - so it is just fine.
Talk about a wedge issue for me.

Nobody is forcing those serfs to work for Bezos’. They can always vote with their feet, throw down the yoke of their Capitalist oppressor and find a job else where or live in a tent.
The choice is still theirs’ to make. Unfortunately for many, their choices have been limited by idiot Dems. Similarly, it’s my choice to buy from Amazon or not.
