Former Vice President Joe Biden is thumping President Donald Trump in the polls. As of Friday, Biden led Trump by 10 percentage points in the RealClearPolitics national average and by six to nine points in each of four key states: Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. But many Democrats refuse to trust these numbers. They feel burned by 2016, when Hillary Clinton lost after leading in the polls for months. They’re afraid Trump will come back again.
That could happen. But it probably won’t, and one reason is that Biden isn’t Clinton. You can argue that public antipathy toward Clinton was sexist, based on lies, or propelled by the media. But that antipathy was a fact, and polls consistently documented it. Now polls are showing something else: On identical questions, posed by the same pollsters at the same stage of the campaign, Biden is doing far better than Clinton did. He’s more broadly liked and less broadly disliked than she was.

The only way they beat Trump is through voter fraud. That is a serious threat. They know how much more they need to cheat this time than they did with Clinton. We need voter ID now! We can’t allow massive vote by mail. Every single person that doesn’t want to see Biden win needs to get off their butts and vote.
The voter suppression claim is a con. By saying it disenfranchises black voters they are saying black voters are too lazy to find their way to the polls or so stupid they need help voting. Why can’t so many minorities see that for what it is?
I was a democrat volunteer during my early 20’s living in Chicago, in 1960’s. I don’t think anyone on this forum has more familiarity with voter fraud than me. JFK would never have been the president without Chicago.

I also think Texas may be lost to Biden, as liberals are really confident this time, even expecting to take the TX House of Representatives for the first time since January 2003. Liberal icon Wendy Davis is back in the spotlight too running for Congress in a competitive district. An Beto O’Rourke, armed with 4,017,851 votes in 2018, says that Texas is Biden’s to lose.
So many white suburban women under 50 are fully committed to Biden because they so loathe Trump.

Since Trump is not really a Republican, he had a golden chance, briefly, in 2017 to make the break and give us a nationalist movement and government, but he failed, and the 2018 disaster was just the beginning of the pricetag.

Also, I think Trump’s team is holding fire until closer to the election. We can scare the shiite out of lots of votors anytime, just with vids of what the Dems are bringing now. But emotions can’t be kept up for months. Also, Biden ain’t the official nominee yet. Harder to replace after he accepts.

Are you sure Biden can’t stay hidden? A fair media would demand he come out and make his case, but we know we do not have that. And I don’t see the masses demanding to see him either. I think Biden will get away with hiding until after the election. I’m not even convinced we will see more than one debate. Excuses (in Biden’s favor, of course) will be made.
