PLENTY of vitamin D for YEARS!
I have been taken 10,000 units daily and my level is 87. I do not get enough sun because I burn easily and sunscreen blocks the benefit. My doctor said 87 is high but not a problem and within the limits.

If you know your level and desired level, there’s a way to calculate a weight-based dose. If you’ve never looked, GrassrootsHealth has a lot of info on their website. I believe that’s where I saw the dose calculator.
I’ve done their fingerstick test and got my level up to 70, which I prefer during this pandemic.
+1 to those.
Same here.
Less effective the older you get.
“More than 100 micrograms for adults and children from age 11”
I take 375 micrograms per day. The main reason people say vitamins don’t work is because they listen to people like this and don’t take enough of whatever vitamin it is to make any difference.
Zinc, vitamin D3, vitamin C, and others, every day, keeps the coronavirus away.
No, I am not a nutritionist, no I don’t play one on TV, but I can be one on the Internet.
375 micrograms (15,000 IU) per day.
Some FReeper said to take it a couple years back and I have been.
So far, so good.
Examine.com is a great resource for supplements. Heres their vitamin D page:

B12 liquid -—> methylcobalamin is what you want.
Tablets do not work . It has to mix with your saliva to work .You hold it under your tongue for max benefit .
Thank you so much!!

Yes, I also take 200 mg with food of vitamin K2.
Other benefits: reduction in age related joint pain, exercise stamina and incredibly, regaining height shrinkage.
Ive been taking D3 vitamins since the epidemic started (though probably not necessary since I work outside anyway). Might it explain why blacks are more susceptible to the disease since they produce less Vitamin D than whites.
If mostly this thing is an annoyance rather than a fearsome pestilence then it is going to be known to affect only a very few folks unless everybody gets tested and lots of those desultory coughs and sniffles turn out to be the Dread Disease itself.
I regularly take 5k per day. No ill effects.
My last test was in normal range but my doc suggested I begin a 2-5IU supplement in January. So far so good. I also quaff a liter of tonic water for the small quanine dose and take an “over 50” vitamin dose plus zinc. So far so good.
I get Rx Vit D because I don’t have colon to absorb it. Sun helps but not in winter
