Former NFL Star Herschel Walker Blasts Biden For Comparing George Floyd to MLK Jr.

Former NFL Star Herschel Walker took aim at Joe Biden after the Democrat nominee for President said George Floyd’s death had a greater impact on the world than the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Walker, Heisman Trophy winner who started his pro career playing for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL, a team that was owned by some guy named Donald J Trump. After his three years in the USFL, the league went out of business so the running back moved to the NFL where he played for 11 years, most noticeably with the Dallas Cowboys.

Biden’ s comparison angered Walker. He also hammered Biden on his record on helping the black community while he was at it.

“Someone inform [Biden] not to compare the death of Dr. King and George Floyd,” he wrote in a social media post over the weekend. “He has been in office a very long time, and not once has he tried to change anything for black lives.”

MLK was murdered.
Saint Floyd died of a heroin overdose.

Slight difference.

Herschel gets it.

And so it begins.
American blacks that grew up in the shadow of MLKjr are becoming aware that the “new generation” wants to supplant MLKjr with a new civil rights hero that:
(1) Believes that MLKjr did not go far enough to help the black society
(2) Denies the importance of “Boomer Blacks” in protecting the gains of MLKjr.
Those that lived the struggle and wrote its history.
(3) Wants to protect the Democrat Party-of-Free-Shit (Plantation Mentality)

More blacks of our generation will stand up in the days to come and push back against this re-writing of history - THEIR history of civil rights gains.
Their struggle against REAL oppression was not fought in vain, but truly...in pain.
THEIR place in history will not be erased or cancelled.

It comes down to this with HW.
His parents and he, himself (born 1962), worked hard to get where he is at.
He was gifted with superior athleticism that allowed him to attend a Southern University, have a career in the NFL and then move into the “capital market arena”.
BECAUSE of MLKjr.
Because of his peer-group’s fight for equality.
Because of his parents fight for equality in their children’s lifetime.

I remember the first time I saw pictures of the Democrat’s 1924 Klan Bake Convention with hundreds dressed in hoods. I was shocked. I think America needs a slap in the face reality check on the Democrat Party and their history of racism if they want to divide this country.the time is right because people know they have been lied to.

Biden’ s comparison angered Walker

Herschel Walker doesn't remember George Floyd's letter from the county lockup.

In all this, blacks have to realize that THEIR history, good and bad, is being erased also by a bunch of white liberal elites.

I wasn’t really headed in that direction because
(1) I don’t speak for American Blacks
(2) My post was about the fruits of their struggle in my lifetime being erased, not about blaming stupid ideologies.

I agree. I was just retying to say what you made in point two. This will have collateral damage for them regarding their history also.

Everybody remember those two guys with the Black Power Salute at the 1968 Olympics.

But it seems nobody remembers George Foreman’s answer to them a few days later:

GEORGE FOREMAN: ‘IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, I WOULD HAVE HAD TWO FLAGS’
