A man was shot Monday after gunfire erupted at a demonstration in New Mexico, where protesters attempted to topple a bronze conquistador’s statue outside an Albuquerque museum, authorities said.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
“The shooting tonight was a tragic, outrageous and unacceptable act of violence and it has no place in our city,” Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller said in a statement.
A group of armed men, who call themselves the New Mexico Civil Guard, were trying to stop the statue being taken down when gunshots were heard and people started shouting that someone had been shot.
Police then used tear gas and stun grenades to protect officers who rushed into the group and detained those involved in the shooting, Mr Gallegos said.
He said their weapons were removed and they were taken into custody for questioning, while police secured the area.
Of course, the mainstream media decide not to air the video and blamed the armed person.
But the video we have for you will show a totally different picture where the armed person was shooting but in self-defense.

They attacked him because they thought he was a cop. Then they said they were going to kill him. Before this, he was just standing in the crowd minding his own business.

Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham issued a statement directed at the armed people, saying they were there to menace protesters. She said there is no room in New Mexico for any sort of escalation of what she called “reckless, violent rhetoric.”
“The instigators this evening will be rooted out, they will be investigated, and they will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” she said.
The police will stand down and allow the communists to loot, burn and tear down statues.
If you interfere to protect private property, the police will arrest you.
Time to change tactics, folks. Snipe these bastards from a distance right off the statue. The police will not catch you.

I watch the full video and the man was entirely justified to shoot this punk in self defense.

There’s other video that shows the beginning of the altercation. He is trying to get closer to the front, and some person starts pushing him away. He tries to go around, and the person puts an elbow to his face. He grabs the person’s arm and throws them down.
Then people start screaming at him, so he leaves. That’s when we see the next video, he is walking away, and a guy shouts “I’ll kill you” and runs up and tackles him and beats him with the skateboard, at which point he shoots the guy beating him.
