Going into any relationship as a biracial woman, I know one thing: Any serious relationship will involve discussion of the issues of racism.

That became even more crucial when I became serious with a white man. There were days I had lived as a Black woman that he would never live through or could imagine living through.

Interesting that her BF is first blamed for not being able to imagine what it’s like to carry around the burden of “being black” -—the issue used to be simpler-—previously we were insensitive to what it was like to be merely “a woman”. “You’ve come a long way, baby.”——now you can stand there by yourself, with the triple burden of being female , black, and stuck in a “biracial” so called “relationship.

This woman is very self-indulgent and goes with slogans way more than she goes with any intellect. "White privilege" is an invention by race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, an excuse for lack of self effort on the part of blacks. They can't succeed, you see, because of "white privilege". Not because 75% are born out of wedlock, to low IQ irresponsible people ill-equipped to raise them, not because of rejecting educational opportunities by cutting class or not participating in the classes they do attend, not because of drug use or improper socialization by their teenage mothers to respect authority--no, their multi-generational failure is due to "white privilege". Why then are there multiple generations of blacks on welfare rolls but only single generations of legal immigrants, if that many? Because immigrants come to this country to make themselves a better life and realize that hard work is part of that equation, while the latest of multiple generations of blacks feel that the government owes them a living, despite their failure to make the slightest effort to help themselves.

"White privilege" entails holding a job, even a difficult one or one you don't like that much in order to support your family. "White privilege" entails acting in a socially responsible manner and not breaking store windows and looting when you can time it with a supposed injustice to someone. "White privilege" means providing for your own kids and raising them yourself.

This woman's doubts arise because she is viewing things that happen to her through an Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson lens. I really have to wonder if this man can't do better for himself, because it sounds like he is genuinely trying.

Ever notice how anyone liberal, women especially, who can so much as find an ancestor who might have smiled at a real black, suddenly discards the Asian, Caucasian, or Hispanic ancestry in them and goes full ‘Black Experience’ race card when it’s convenient?
