Trump tweeted about Seattle on Wednesday and Thursday after several prominent conservatives expressed shock over the protesters’ activities. He said that “Domestic Terrorists” had taken over the city.
“Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,” Trump tweeted. “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!”
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan on Thursday pushed back against President Trump’s threat to “take back” the city after protesters camped out around a police station near downtown, vowing to resist any effort by Trump to use force to disband the demonstration.
“We do not need anyone, including the president, to try to sow further divide, further distrust, and misinformation,” Durkan (D) said in a news conference. “The threat to invade Seattle, to divide and incite violence in our city is not only unwelcome, it would be illegal.”
But one Facebook event alleges that Bikers For Trump are ready to defy the major’s orders and will retake the Autonomous Zone.
The event states:
On July 4th, Independence Day,a coalition of patriot groups and all who want to join are going to retake the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone for America. Antifa members are illegally occupying public property and terrorizing small businesses in the neighborhood. American patriots have agreed to come together again, remove the barricades illegally obstructing traffic, and free the people in the zone. We are not going to hurt anybody, break the law, etc. We are simply going to tear down the illegal barriers on public property, clean up the mess these communist kids made, and return the police station over to Seattle Police Department control
*The staging area will be Seward Park. The parking lot can handle roughly 10,000 bikes easily.

The response of *Let them deal with the consequences of their actions* is not going to work.
For one thing, there probably won’t be any consequences as the mayor of Seattle and maybe the governor of the state, are going to provide them with all the amenities they want of need. Free of charge.
There will be no life lesson for them at that rate. Also, it will encourage others to do the same.
I understand how for the rest of the country, that perhaps it could push more people towards voting for Trump. But maybe not either.
At this point, I’m beginning to think that the biggest life lesson they need to learn from this is that the average American is not going to put up with their crap any more. Smack them down good and hard, like a bad dog, and they’ll back off.

We are infested with a few autonomous areas because the government lacks the resources to properly deal with the situation. (see: Whack-a-Mole)

Well, I am not in the situation, so perhaps I should be more understanding.
But I don’t think it would take very long for the pampered ‘scum’ to relent and evacuate, if they couldn’t charge their phones, use the toilet, &c.
If I were fool enough to have remained a resident of such a municipality, I wouldn’t mind the inconvenience, if it got these idiots out of my neighborhood. (And if I lived in a place like Seattle, I’d certainly be prepared for something like this - if I were other than a lily-livered liberal.)
