Today democrats took a knee in a great obsequious ceremony for all to see when they presented their bill basically meant to eviscerate police departments across the country. In essence, they pledged fealty.

What’s fascinating is the hard actions being taken.
“Defund the police” with the actual laws they’re writing is turning into community policing where Police are only called out for violent cases and all low crime will be handled by... meter maids.
And that’s actually not a bad idea - but it’s more surprising that nobody in BLM or the Democrats ever suggested or implemented that in the past 30 years of Democrat rule (they did this in New Jersey)
I suspect this play the race card and riot and destroy things is all for fund raising and power handling and virtue signaling (and maybe that’s all socialism ever has been)

I think you are right. BLM is playing the democrats. The democrats so desperately want to be seen as woke, they will do anything to show it. Even if it is completely asinine. They are not self-aware enough to understand it.

This used to be called “a means to the end.” In my experience there are two types of actions by liberals/socialists..there are the times a conservative president is in office and there is a steady line of demonstrative issues, normally one at a time, that are so horrible to the people in their “learned” opinion that life is going to end as we speak. The other time is when a liberal/socialist president is in and occasionally they mentioned something that applies to their voting base as an innovative state of the art new plan to make life better for everyone (?). And all you conservatives can pound sand if it doesn’t as like Obama said, the people elected us, we are in charge. And between times of these great originations, the crickets chirp or they are busy protecting policies to the point of stupidity...Bengazi, Iran nuclear deal, increasing the Afghanistan manning thus also cost in lives and funds, and Obamas lack of decisiveness which contributed to the emboldening of our terrorist enemies throughout the world.
