There was a barbecue in the town of Griffith, Indiana yesterday. It was possibly the most unusual and unexpected barbecue in US history. More than 400 people gathered in Central Park to protest about the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. They held banners with slogans like 'BLACK LIVES MATTER', 'END RACISM', 'COLOR SHOULD BE CELEBRATED', 'SERVE AND PROTECT' and even 'DEFUND THE POLICE AND DEFEND THE PEOPLE' and they kept up a steady stream of 'No lives matter until black lives matter!' and 'I can't breathe!' chanting.

Saw a picture of a ‘similar’ event in the town near me that had ‘hundreds’ gather in the park and one picture shows some gentlemen with their masks on, on one knee BUT in the middle of the picture is a White Woman on both knees and her face on the ground. (From what I could see in the pic, she was middle aged at the least)
Last week in a nearby MD county whites were on their knees taking the ‘pledge’ from the Black organizers of a ‘rally’.
Years ago(1976) we had a robbery in a fast food restaurant and the crew was marched into the freezer laid down, face on the ground and 4 executed with a couple of bullets to the back of the head.
(Apparently only 1 perp who got 4 (one of the victims survived) life sentences and eligible for parole in 90s and (reportedly) died in prison in 2009)
I commented at the time that in a similar situation, UNLESS I was #1 in line the ONLY way I would take one in the back of the head is if there was a footprint on my back.
THAT is the only way I would ‘take’ a knee, other than while engaged in prayer and these days any ‘talking’ to the Lord is while in the position I am in at the time.

In sports, if you need a short rest, you "take a knee". Not new. Nothing wrong with it.
On Game of Thrones, the phrase was actually "bend the knee". Public submission to your master. Not part of US culture at all.
But presto-changeo! The left has worked through sports figures to promote the idea that all White people should "take a knee" in order to offer public submission to our new Overlords.
And the media pretends that it's normal and sensible and a sign of racism if you refuse.
