What is Marco Rubio Doing?
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Posted on 06/01/2020 9:44:31 AM PDT by EyesOfTX

Marco Rubio, the Florida RINO Senator who unfortunately was picked by Mitch McConnell to become the acting Chairman of the corrupt Senate Intelligence Committee, went out of his way to contradict the public position of the President of the United States and U.S. Attorney General on Sunday.

Rubio took to his twitter feed to utter this pre-written message:

Marco Rubio ✔ @marcorubio Various domestic terror groups on BOTH far left & right are instigating & committing acts of violence & looting.

They are stealing the focus away from the murder of Mr. Floyd & the legitimate problems it revealed.

Embedded video 11.7K 3:19 PM - May 31, 2020 Twitter Ads info and privacy 20.1K people are talking about this

Note the emphasis on the word “BOTH.” It would sure be a good thing if the Senator from the Deep State would reveal to the nation exactly what intelligence briefing he has received that would indicate to him that any “right-wing” group has played any role in organizing and carrying-out these increasingly violent riots all over the country.

Certainly, neither President Donald Trump nor Attorney General William Barr has been privy to any such intelligence. Nor have any of the Democrat mayors and governors who spent most of the day Saturday pushing the “right wing” line, but then largely abandoned it on Sunday amid a flood of videos showing this is clearly the work of the very, very left wing Antifa and BLM groups of professional agitators funded by George Soros and front groups for the Democrat Party.

Here is Rubio’s statement in full:

The murder of George Floyd is both a tragedy and a travesty, and the anger we’ve seen built around it isn’t just justified, but is also more than just about Mr. Floyd’s murder. It is about the fact that a substantial percentage of the American family believes and feels that their issues receive less attention, and their lives are held with less value because of their race, because of the color of their skin.

This is an ongoing problem that has haunted us for far too long, and it must be addressed. And the anger you saw spill over and these protests across the country, well, that’s where it comes from as much as anything else. Unfortunately, however, while these protesters that are out there to talk about these issues and to point to Mr. Floyd’s murder, these protesters have been largely peaceful. They are not the ones looting and burning and hurting people. But something happens at these protests right around sundown. Suddenly, they start to turn violent, and you start to turn violent because some people show up, and they show up with backpacks, and in them they have batons and incendiary devices. We’ve heard reports of people showing up in trucks to begin to take things out, and that’s when the looting starts. That’s when the violence starts.

Who are these people? Because the real protesters on the ground will tell you they don’t know who they are. They’ve never seen them before. These people are violent domestic extremists and they range from Antifa groups who are radical to the left, to some other groups radical to the right. In fact, groups that I would argue don’t even belong on the political spectrum as we know it, and their goal — while they are ideologically opposed to each other and in fact have gotten into fights against each other at some of these protests — they share a common goal. They share some common objectives. They hate the police. They hate the government. That’s why they target police and government symbols and they want this country to fall apart. They want to trigger some of them openly call for a second civil war.

We must also pay attention to what these groups are doing, being cheered on, by the way, by foreign adversaries online.

Because they pose a threat to our security, but they are also unfairly defaming these protesters who have nothing to do with the violence and the looting that they are encouraging and carrying out, and they are taking away from an important discussion about social injustice which this nation must have once and for all.

[End]

It must be said that, if Rubio has actually seen any shred of intelligence indicating that “right-wing” agitators are indeed involved in any of these riots, then he has a solemn duty to share that intelligence with the Executive Branch of the federal government. And if such intelligence does actually exist – which seems doubtful since any Democrat who came into possession of such evidence would immediately leak it to the Washington Post and New York Times, among other corrupt media outlets – then he also has a solemn obligation to let the public know about it.

Otherwise, given the dearth oven even a shred of evidence of any such right-wing involvement in the public domain, Rubio simply looks like a creepy little, highly-compromised liar. Which may be an accurate description.

Rubio later had this exchange with Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe:

Marco Rubio ✔ @marcorubio With all due respect @LisaMarieBoothe what would be cowardly is condemning what Antifa is doing in the street but ignore what certain extremist groups on the far right are encouraging followers to do on telegram & facebook. I am against ANY group that undermines law & order https://twitter.com/lisamarieboothe/status/1267224762457219073 …

Lisa Boothe ✔ @LisaMarieBoothe Replying to @marcorubio What groups on the right? With all due respect, this is a cowardly response.

5,253 7:46 PM - May 31, 2020 Twitter Ads info and privacy 10.6K people are talking about this

This appears to be an admission by Rubio that, instead of having any real intelligence that would implicate these “right-wing” groups, he is actually equating some random Facebook posts by some redneck buffoons to the actionable intelligence the DOJ and White House are relying on where Antifa is concerned. This is clownish behavior by Rubio, and is a de facto admission he has seen no such actual intelligence at all.

And this is the guy who is currently chairing your Senate Intel Committee. Astonishing.

Meanwhile, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, the only non-RINO Republican on the Senate Intel Committee, said in an interview on Fox News last night that the President should invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 to deploy military troops to put down the riots if they continue:

Cotton, during an interview with Fox News, said that “if necessary the president should use the Insurrection Act to deploy active-duty military forces to these cities to support our local law enforcement and ensure that this violence ends tonight, not one more night.”

“What the president can do is say that justice will be done in accordance with law for George Floyd and we will always respect the right of peaceful protests … but the rioting, the anarchy and the looting ends tonight. If local law enforcement is overwhelmed … lets see how these anarchists respond when the 101st Airborne is on the other side of the street,” Cotton added.

[End]

The Insurrection Act was last invoked 28 years ago in response to the 1992 LA riots that took place in the wake of the Rodney King incident. A spokesman for the Pentagon denied this move was currently being considered, but if this budding, Democrat-induced civil war continues for another few nights, anything is possible.

That is all.

Little Marco is drawing a false equivalence. You have highly organized political violence of the left that reaches the upper levels of the Democrat party and also some inconsequential rabble who call themselves right wing or whatever.

With all due respect @LisaMarieBoothe what would be cowardly is condemning what Antifa is doing in the street but ignore what certain extremist groups on the far right are encouraging followers to do on telegram & facebook.

That stupidity reminds me of the "evidence" that the news media was citing, mostly from one source stating that "the chatter on the right-wing group chat rooms" was much higher during the protests, "suggesting their involvement in them." So people talking on the internet about what's going on is evidence of their involvement, and culpability, in them. Incredible!

He's trying for further the leftists lie that far right wing people commit mass murder and tyrannical behavior. This goes way back to the left wing academia lie that nazis and Fascists are right wing. This is a total lie and by definition cannot be true.

The left is evil and that is who is behind the push for violence in these protests. It's the same group who pushed for radical lock downs because of corona. In a nutshell. IT'S THE EVIL DEMOCRAT PARTY.

This guy, Graham, and Burr will be spitting words if the republic falls. It will be their fault more than most.

What a pathetic loser. Turn off CNN and think for your F-——G self for once.

Ratcliffe is now DNI. Has to be a Senator though, and not a protege of Romney, which Rubio unfortunately still has influencers from Romneybots.

The Cuban American National Foundation has “Russia=Soviets” on their team,as opposed to the obvious turn to the chi-coms that Cuba has taken in its continuing influence activity in Venezueala (ie. contributing 20K plus federal policia, in Venezuelan uniforms, all of whom are Cuban military/communists, who are recognized immediately by Venezuelan public as Cubans... from their accent. This from friends still in country, hanging on).

Rubio wants to climb, and that is the problem for the moment. Someone needs to talk to him, now he is Gang of Eight with the supposed “clearance” that imparts. He is running his mouth at the behest of... Warner?

BTW, Warner aand Kaine issued a joint statement Friday(who were very upset at the removal of Dana Boente as FBI top counsel/aide to Wray, and formerly DOJ Nat Intel prosecutor at the Rocket Docket, Alexandria, VA).

The network in VA of russia russia was— McCabe (McCabe’s wife with clinton money from bagman former VA gov. McAuliffe, who now runs Northam blackface from his clinton money desk)- through Dana Boente, through McAuliffe (see: Charlottesville “white” AntiFA operation instigating the “action” and organized by Occupy organizer Kessler)—and the 2 VA Senators Warner and Kaine, and of course the many Northern VA “blue gubmint workers” demographics.
Boente is gone, and Burr and Feinstein are both under investigation on their stock trades.

Kamala Harris was seen at the WH BLM “protest” that had Secret Service mobilized (vs. AntiFA infiltrators). Someone should ask Kamala Harris if she supports the Terrorist Organization AntiFA— and that was why she was there.

Kaine’s son is AntiFa, also btw.

Marco Rubio pretended to be a tea party activist in order to get elected. He lied. Repeatedly. Once he was in, that was immediately out the window.

But never forget. He lied. Repeatedly. He'll do it again. Nothing he says can ever be taken at face value. He's not to be trusted. Ever.

“…Various domestic terror groups on BOTH far left & right…”

I would really like to know what a far right or left terrorist group is. In 2016 the theory that Thomas Greven intoduced in the 19th century and still used today was reconfirmed and that it suggested that right-wing populism is a cause of right-wing terrorism. More simply put, populism supports the advancement of “the average citizen”, not the agendas of the privileged elite which is the exact purpose of our Constitution. Greven defines right-wing populists as those who support ethnocentrism, and oppose immigration. Of course, opposing immigration because they aren’t good enough to be here because of their lifestyle or their skin color or their history might be a confirmed step in his theory. But they are not being held out (legally) for those reasons. They are a drain on the economy and a blockaide for the successes of US citizens by taking jobs citizens might be able to do.

Ethnocentrism is a term mostly used in social sciences in reference to the act of believing that one’s culture is superior to all other cultures. Ethnocentrism is used in social sciences and anthropology to describe the act of judging another culture as inferior and believing that the values and standards of one’s own culture are superior to those of all other cultures. So by the words he is using, are right wing terrorist groups for elitism or not. What he is defining is the same elitist thought process for both. And if the premise is major cause of right wing terrorist acts, and it is the same as the acts by others as they feel the same way, how can there be anything but one terrorist group based upon that theory?
I guess if you are considered an expert, you can say anything and it will be written in stone. They need to open up their eyes and see the forest for the trees.

Nation of Islam is sometimes called “far right” because it is black nationalist and they often criticize the black community’s moral failings, homosexuals, etc.
