Amy Cooper, a white woman who was publicly shamed and fired by her employer after calling the police on African American birdwatcher Christian Cooper who asked her to leash her dog in Central Park, said her entire life is being destroyed right now. After the immense backlash against Amy, Christian is now saying he is uncomfortable with the response, according to the New York Times.
Its a little bit of a frenzy, and I am uncomfortable with that, he said.

“Im surprised that PETA didnt flame the hell out of her after the way she jerked that poor dog around.”
She had to give the dog back to the rescue company where she got it. They recalled it because she mistreated it on the video.
Mr. Cooper may be generous, but this older white woman is not. This woman didn’t just threaten him with the cops, knowing that such an encounter could end in his death. She made the call. Apparently she would have been pleased to see the police shoot him dead for offering her dog a treat as a strategy to get her to leash her dog. Which was the actual law.
In the process she undermines the perception that urgency is required when 911 receives future calls for help from vulnerable women encountering a real threat.
I wouldn’t want to employ her and see her miserable, aelfish, lying face every day either.
He also got into a nasty confrontation with the nasty woman. Takes two to nasty, IMHO. NYC is not a healthy place to live for most people.
She was probably enraged by the fact he was videotaping her too.
Do I smell a made for TV beer summit coming?
Are the two related? Cooper Cooper

Not really. But I do think they both may come from families of barrel makers. ;-)
You try and tell a Karen they acted stupidly
Christian Cooper knew he was about to destroy the life of another human being over a very trivial incident, or he is stupid.
To my mind, the chief lesson from this incident is how cold hearted and sadistic normal Americans have become, eager to tattle tale on other people for objectively minor reasons, knowing that the consequences for the person they tattled on will be permanent and 1000 times out of proportion to the wrong itself.
But the Informo-American can bask in public adulation in throwing the first stone and watching as millions more throw their self-righteous stones.
Re: # 22
How would you react if a man threatened to poison your dog and then started feeding you dog a treat? Because that is what C. Cooper did.
Who made C. Cooper the leash police?
Americans have turned into a cruel bunch of self-righteous tattle-talers, snitches and citizen police squads.
wow, whoda thunk they’d have the same last name.
Amy Cooper/Christian Cooper.
He told her that the Ramble didn’t allow dogs free. She refused to leash her dog. He didn’t want the dog running and disturbing the birds in a protected place
This wasn’t a trivial incident.
He asked her or told her to leash the dog that was loose in a protected area. She refused.
After that she came close to him and threatened him and he started filming her. She then made a false call to the police that he was threatening her - after Minn. he could have been killed by that fake call.
This was NOT trivial - if she had said “ok, ok, i’m leashing the dog and going” and then he filmed her, that would have been trivial. But this was not trivial
They both have the same last name?
“It certainly sounded better in my head than out loud.”
Destined to be together.
It would be a great love story.
Do you know that he threatened her first?
