Joan of Arc was amazing.
At the age of 19, coming from a very poor family, she played a significant role in turning round a very long war.
This was a world where faith counted for something.
She was burned to death by her enemies at age 19.
She did most of her remarkable work at age 17.
At her “trial”, after she said that she did have visits from the saints, who gave her advice,
her enemies smirked and asked,
“What dialect do they speak in?”
HER ANSWER:
“A better one than yours.”
The Shelley Luther of her day.
thanks for the correction ........
France always kills their hero’s then use them as hero’s

Olivier Bouzy, a medieval historian and co-director of the Joan of Arc centre in Orléans, said: “These theories have been knocked down 100 times. This is about people who are not historians, who don’t understand the mentality of the Middle Ages, looking for a contemporary explanation. It shows there is a clear market of readers who aren’t satisfied with what history tells us, otherwise these books would never be published.”
Standard leftwing crap.
Just like the left in the US trashes George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Davy Crockett, Robert E, Lee, etc.
Well, yeah.
Olivier Bouzy... sounds like a French guy... has to work on the first floors at the college because he’s always too lit up to handle the stairs...
Your continuously frivolous approach to Joan of Arc doesn’t match up well with your postings on other topics.
Did a stranger hack into your computer?
Nope, I've just always been a great big old leftist, a total left-winger, a wild-eyed, bomb throwing...
Too subtle?
