In the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind the government stages a train accident in order to evacuate the area around Devils Tower so that they can conduct operations in secret.
This situation with the coronavirus feels a lot like the scenario in the move. The world governments are using the coronavirus to divert attention and hide something.
Many Freepers feel like I do. The worldwide reaction to the virus makes no sense. I ain't buying it and neither are you. We have never seen the entire developed world commit suicide to contain any virus not even smallpox or polio. We went after both aggressively with vaccines and quarantined those afflicted.
What is really happening? I trust President Trump. He is not a liar, he is brutally honest with his opinions and feelings. He is certainly given to promotion and hyperbole, but these are not lies. A reasonable and informed person knows when they’re not getting the truth.
Watching President Trump in the virus briefings there is a certain, somber tone in his voice. This is a tone of deep concern and worry. It seems to me as if he knows a terrifying secret and wants to tell us, but he feels that he cannot because of the possible reaction from Americans and the world population. What is this terrible secret?
That’s why I’ve posted this on Free Republic. I think Free Republic has some of the smartest and most insightful members found in the world. I want to hear your opinions even the tinfoil hat opinions. Remember the basic rules of brainstorming. Share your opinion, whatever it is. Talk it out. Do not discourage participation or opinions by ridiculing anyone. Just let the info flow.
Here are a couple of my thoughts.
Could some group of bad guys have successfully built a weapon(s) of mass destruction and placed them in cities around the world and they are holding the developed world hostage? In this scenario I see money being a motive more so than ideology. The WMD angle could explain the need for tens of thousands of ventilators should they carry out their threat, and it also might explain why we just printed trillions of dollars which could be used for ransom. Afterall, who in hell really knows where all that money will go.
For my second SWAG it’s tinfoil hat time. Could an extra-terrestrial entity have threatened to attack the earth? Yea, I know what you’re thinking but I’m watching Unsealed UFO files as I write this, and I did site Close Encounters Lol.

President Trump has indeed used the words “hidden enemy” and “war” referring to the virus situation. In that context it’s interesting to note that Sweden hasn’t locked down. In WWII, Sweden claimed neutrality. Could this non conformist approach be Sweden in effect claiming neutrality in this “War”? What other connotations does this bring to mind?
I agree, I think it’s as simple as government bureaucrats getting a glorious opportunity to release their inner totalitarian...worldwide. Bureaucrats don’t really change, regardless of the country they come from.

Wow, how did you find this. It was posted Nov 4, 2019 according to Youtube. Why are comments turned of. This was a dress rehearsal. Why was it posted at all. Why John Hopkins? Damn! Mind blown.
I believe the panic reaction was driven by the Chinese internal reaction. That seemed to be driven mightily by the belief that a truly deadly pathogen had been released. The CCP reacted to the release as if they thought it was truly as deadly as it had been designed to be in that lab. When the rest of the world, principally America saw that activity it reacted as if the Chinese knew they had released something like a highly contagious Ebola. From that point it just rolled on as politicians saw tremendous advantage in the lockdown and they all made a great power grab and moved to actually end the Constitution as any sort of guide to the American system.
Comments avoided the extra-terrestrial involvement.
It’s obvious to me that these aliens are helping the U.S. with our efforts. They had nothing to do with initiating the pandemic.

Although, I do think Pres. Trump saw this coming, had some mitigation planned, mitigation that includes using the Deep State’s master plan to boomerang back on them.
Agree. I think this is why he used the word ‘war’ early and often. He didn’t mean it casually.
