I know of more people who have died from other medical conditions being untreated during the shutdown, than have contracted the CCPvirus.

What sucks is no wake nor funeral.

Yes. We are waiting til after lockdown and have a proper memorial with actual hugging etc.

But what sucks the worst, and to me is a crime against humanity, is the patients die alone. Their loved ones want to be by their side. They’d sign waivers, visit one by one, whatever. But they are forbidden. This would be understandable only in an Ebola situation. This is not a virus with a 50-50 chance of getting it from one exposure.

“Lost a cousin last night. What sucks is no wake nor funeral.”

Very sorry to hear that, my condolences for your family’s loss.

The problem with the Wuhan virus is that you don’t know for sure if you’ve been infected by the virus without medical testing in my non-medical opinion.

The following list is not intended to be complete.

My non-medical advice is to start taking vitamin D3 after setting clocks back in fall.

People with low levels of Vitamin D may be more likely to catch coronavirus and die from COVID-19 infection, study suggests

Correction, insight welcome.

I got very sick right before Thanksgiving. Like nothing I’ve ever had before. Horrible cough, low-grade fever for a few days, general yuck. Went to the doctor twice. Two different diagnosis, the second time they gave me a Z pack and that worked

hawaii has the lowest per capita case and death rate in the nation

Also the strictest lockdown requirements. Most people must stay in their homes, most businesses and all restaurants and food establishments are shut except for takeout under certain conditions, tourism is shut, anyone coming into the islands or even traveling island to island must go through 2 week quarantine after they land. Also you have to wear a mask if you’re outside except in limited circumstances (e.g., walking in neighborhood if there is no one within 6 feet of you).

Michigan's governor is awful, but thankfully we are not there right now.

Our niece from Connecticut (45) got it early. Said it felt crummy, but was never hospitalized. It lingered for almost two weeks.

Where we are now, there are very few cases, and no deaths. Where we live in Michigan has very few cases.

Flying home will be interesting.

Unknown, no antibody tests available to the “average person” like me to check. Potentially a lot of people got it & got over it with minimal/no symptoms in December/January/February.

They're giving out anti body tests like candy here.

Took my family Wednesday. Should know soon.

I had flu like symptoms back in March. Several others in my family were frequent fliers thru JFK in March but had no symptoms.

Texas will now let us Louisianians in. Now if only our governor would let us out. That would be great.

My uncle in law is in covid ward at the hospital. To be fair, he’s 85 and is in declining health and had a stroke couple of years ago.

Grand Kids were pretty sick...Daughter was mildly sick...Since they don’t test for the flu we don’t know if it was the standard flu or the Chi-Com flu...They got over it...They are with my wife and I hours each day...We haven’t had any symptoms...

First responder Dallas/Ft Worth metromess. Pretty sure I had it mid November. Had the list of symptoms and literally could not smell wet gasoline on my hand. No lingering after affects.
