Its been 230 years since James Madison drafted the Bill of Rightsthe first ten amendments to the Constitutionas a means of protecting the people against government tyranny, and what do we have to show for it?
Nothing good.
In America today, the government does whatever it wants, freedom be damned.
We can pretend that the Constitution, which was written to hold the government accountable, is still our governing document, but the reality of life in the American police state tells a different story.
We the people have been terrorized, traumatized, and tricked into a semi-permanent state of compliance by a government that cares nothing for our lives or our liberties.

See below:
The Valley County health officers dubiously unconstitutional order can be seen below.
We have to protect our bill of rights.
You don’t need I.D. to vote, but you do to buy food?

Yeah, uh, huh. The government that’s trying to stop the spread of a deadly virus by not allowing people to congregate “cares nothing for our lives.”
so the yellow star was already taken?
First, this particular county is way out in the middle of nowhere, against the Canadian border on one side and a major Indian Reservation on the other side.....marginally having 7,000 residents in the whole county.
Second, I would be curious to how the state constitution is written and how they have this ability to limit customers.
I live in Spain, which (last time I checked) doesn’t have a Bill of Rights. Over Easter weekend the police were checking IDs and ticketed people who didn’t have a local address, even if they owned a vacation home here. They handed out 56 fines for 600 Euros each and arrested one person. One of my wife’s friends also told her about her neighbor who got a 600 euro ticket for non-essential shopping.
yellow crown patches
My first thought, too.
I wonder how it is that the politicians have the legal right to dictate that the store owners enforce their policies. Of course, they’ve already turned employers into tax collectors, garnishment collectors, and civil rights enforcers. I guess now they can dictate who they serve, as well.
Whaaaat??? Are you serious? Trying to save lives by doing what exactly? Infringing on livelihoods and rights? Think again, snowflake.
This is a fairly remote region. So if some idiot walked into my store with $50 to spend...the last thing I’d want to do is ask if he had some ‘pink’ bracelet on.
There’s no real interstate around, and I’d take a guess that in the spring and summer....you might have a thousand RV’ers pass through a week in this county.

You’re right. I have no idea how preventing infected people from mingling with uninfected people could POSSIBLY save lives. Nah... couldn’t be.
Because, after all, making money is far more important than thousands of dead old people, right?
Sieg Heil
. We're being manipulated folks!
Better check out what Billy Gates is trying to do with his little Vax-id. It's not coming, it's HERE!
Valley County doesn't have any cases. Nor does anyone around them. Tell the health dept to GFY which is exactly what the county commissioners did in rescinding the order.
Enjoy your time under house arrest having bought the lie that all this is necessary.
“Because, after all, making money is far more important than thousands of dead old people, right?”
“Making money” a.k.a. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Americans used to understand the meaning and value of liberty and personal responsibility. This county was founded by people who sacrificed their lives for freedom. Now it’s largely inhabited by people who cheerfully sacrifice their freedoms for the illusion of safety.
Yes, of course. Because anyone who puts people’s lives over money MUST be a Nazi. I get it.
That must include President Trump, too, since he’s not in favor of opening up heavily infected states and having huge amounts of people die. How DARE he!
