Have any of you seen any good coronavirus T-shirts on anyone or for sale?

Some I have noted for sale on websites say the following:

"Corona State Penitentiary"

"COVID 19: We are all in this together- separately"

"For the last time, I am not unemployed. I am on quarantine.".

"Charmin 2020"

"I turned 18 in quarantine."

People have died horrible deaths."

I agree. This is an extremely bad case of the flu. And just like every year, people have died horrible deaths.

We need to take great care of our elders and those with pre-existing conditions. MUCH better care than we were doing.

That being said, I would not deny the right to those who wish to make the best of a bad situation and say to that, - Laughter is the best medicine.

That was my ‘second’ choice....

I figured the ‘STAY AWAY’ would be good for GP later, if and when all this madness goes away....

Just how many LIFE ENDING SITUATIONS is one expected to go through in ones lifetime and how much ‘scorn’ is one supposed to take for not taking one all that seriously after surviving (at Least) 10 or 15 of them????

Stay safe, don’t know who may be crawling around the countryside, then again, they don’t know what to expect either...<: <: <:

I'm sixty seven with multiple risk factors and I'm sorry if I hurt feelings by saying this, but the U. S. Constitution never guaranteed anyone a right not to die.

Me too. I had the top node of my right lung removed due to cancer, I have COPD, and I have emphysema.

No one is looking for the right not to die. But we jumped down the rabbit hole already so what you say is really of little use at this point in time. We must now deal with what to do going forward.

The Federal government never ordered a lock down, governors did this, by conveniently using states rights as their tool to do so (amazing how they believe in states rights when it suits their agenda du jour). Thus the Constitution was not ignored, abused perhaps, but still within the Constitutional rights of the states. Were lock downs the correct action to take? In some states maybe, in as many states that ordered that edict, no one can be sure. But now we have some states that keep moving the goalposts further back.

President Trump would be correct to say that states should make that decision and put the onus back on the governors of each state.

He now has a stockpile of PPE and ventilators to see us through, and time to replenish more if things take a turn for the worse. It's the prefect move because the press can no longer castigate him for what transpires going forward. At least in theory, we all know they will anyway, but people won't.

The mitigation process was initiated to keep healthcare systems from becoming overextended. Because the reserves were exhausted and never replenished. There were shortages of PPE, needed to protect healthcare workers. If they start getting sick in large numbers it's not really easy to just go out and get other professionals to replace them. Those exist in limited quantities.

There were low supplies of ventilators, which in hindsight was not really that critical, but the panicky clamor still existed from childlike leaders, think Cuomo, who talks a mean Tyrone but when it comes down to it he is like a spoiled child that knows it all until faced with a real crisis and then screams for help and blames others, think President Trump, for their slow response to those cries, even though they were to blame for their own shortages. The reason for replenishing stockpiles of these needed items was important because you do not want to create a domino affect that causes even more damage and digs an even deeper hole.

President Trump tried to inject reason into people, but the press knew they had an issue with which to pound on the president on a daily basis. Instead of becoming part of the solution, the press decided to add to the problem making it even worse. The president is absolutely correct when he says the press is the enemy of the people. They have become nothing more than a political mouthpiece for the Democrat Party.

So back to the main point at hand, which is the Constitution. The Constitution was in no way relegated to the corner by either the Federal or State governments. The Federal government had the right to recommend social distancing, and the States had the right to place their states in lock downs. That is until the states started denying people their rights to gather and worship in churches, especially in circumstances where those gathering for worship actually followed the edict of social distancing. The same can be said of those who went for drives but remained in their vehicles and obeyed the social distancing edicts.

Of course Democrats are always going to try and push the envelope as far as they can and deny the rights of citizens, and they will find judges that will assist them in that endeavor. Attempts such as trying to include Green New Deal aspects into legislation within a relief bill are par for the course with the slime ball Democrats. Fortunately they only control the House. Activation of gun control measures & restrictions, but fortunately President Trump deemed gun shops as necessary businesses to keep them open, much to the ire of the press and gun haters in this nation. On other issues we the people must push back and hard, and in many cases we are starting to see that occur.

Some of the questions I posed to Cherry, like the one you led off with, were in response to her post to see what her course of action would have been if she were the president, or perhaps even a governor of a state.

Furthermore, I ended my post with my opinion that all things considered, we must take the chance and risk whatever happens because the cure is becoming worse than the virus, and we no longer have the choice of sitting back any longer.

Hopefully I have coherently answered your concerns. If not I apologize, and we can continue on discussing. 8>)
