If anyone is listening to Rush today? He keeps stopping himself during his thoughts about what's going on with our country.... and says..."I have to stop, I'm getting dangerously close to saying something..."
He clearly is absolutely flustered and shocked how easily this country has been shut down. He has said several times that this can't continue, and he's right.
I suspect he is stopping himself short from putting forth the idea that it's time for Americans to stand up in defiance of all these shutdown orders. He just doesn't want civil unrest pinned on him.
And they cut the President off at the knees - and assume he is the most gullible - ignorant man on the planet - not worthy of the support they are giving him.
You all might as well be democrats.
exactly...virus certainly real but the hype is also real....
There is much more than semantics going on. The state governors have been doing this. And quite frankly, while it makes sense in dense urban areas, it makes no sense for most of flyover country.
I could be wrong but I dont think any of the governors actions have been strong armed, as in threats of holding back funding if they dont follow the guidelines. I would buy that they dont want to be accused of not acting responsibly, but there seems to be more to it than that given the obvious overreach in notable areas (closing gun stores when liquor and pot shops can remain open, closing all ‘non-essential’ business when non-essential is arbitrary and all state employees are paid and protected while private business employees are not, not allowing the affected businesses to develop their own mitigation plans to protect employees and customers while letting ‘essential’ businesses to do so, etc)
I think many businesses would choose to remain open given the option.

I listen to POTUS in his briefings.
“The invisible enemy” the “invisible scourge” to my ears, sounds like he’s talking about a people group, not a virus, or disease. I believe he’s hinting, or telegraphing to them.

I believe there’s something much more than what we’re told, but he’s slow rolling us to the real story and getting us ready for it, just as he had hinted ahead of time what is REALLY going to happen with the restrictions.
We currently have 3,000 dead from this. POTUS said it would be victory if we kept it at 100,000. That’s thirty times worse than what we’re experiencing now as a nation. That’s bad and were VERY early in this process. VERY EARLY.

yes, we've had perhaps a few positive covids....two have died, one with a life long disorder and one quite elderly...many presumptive cases were negative....ironically, we are finding non covid viruses, that could be very serious....
but we wait...and wait...many nurses being called off because we don't have the patient load....
