(VANITY) If your kids are stuck home, why not teach them about the horrors of communism in a form they will immediately and in-depth understand. I've literally heard students gag when looking over the above site. In the age of AOC and Bernie, I just pray our kids don't get brainwashed onto the socialist bandwagon.

I have a map (laminated now) of Berlin that I got in the early 60’s showing the divide. I spent a day on the eastern side at age 15 and pretty much was cured of ever buying into communism.

There was a movement in the early 60s to teach students in my county in Texas about communism in high school. It was quite thorough from the theories of Marx to the actual practice by Lenin and Stalin. The theory always sounds great to some as exemplified by John Lennon’s “Imagine”, which supposedly is the goal of the communist. But somehow the practitioners have never gotten beyond the dictatorship of the proletariat which was to be temporary to teach the people to share everything.

Outside of a family or perhaps a small tribe, human nature does not allow one to be selfless for the good of society. Moreover, somehow the idealogs and theorists seem to always end up as dictators.
Most of the world war II documentaries are communist based, the so-called victors. Not all. The Soviets made the Fascists look like Boy Scouts when it comes to killing their own people.
