Why don’t Trump and the White House task force tell us? Their presentations are woefully vague and short on numbers and facts. I find it EXTREMELY frustrating. I want to know the real trend lines, and all the data that the media isn’t giving us. Why don’t Trump and his people get organized and present us with the real numbers - including how many covid patients are hospitalized? And give us the trend lines every day

You’re probably right. I was thinking more in terms of a metaphor for the people in power who will ALWAYS find something to slow things down.
We need to mobilize like WW2, and FAST, and if it means dropping some waste into streams for a month or two while pollution control systems are brought back on line, so be it.
