Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review made an interesting observation on March 16, 2020.
He tweeted, “Nearly the entire outbreak in NY came from a traveler from Iran, a place that was supposed to have a travel ban, but thanks to lower courts continuing to militate against Scotus decision, it was rendered moot. “

The courts have no standing to rule on the actions taken in a declared emergency.. An emergency declaration is literally saying you have moved beyond the law. The remedy for president who abuses that power is impeachment. But the court cannot declare it unconstitutional.

Trump should just issue an order “I am in charge here” and say the borders are closed, period. Anyone who tries to undermine that order will be jailed or shot.

My daughter who is trapped in the city is neither a Democrat nor expendable. I can’t bring her home because of the risk to other family members.
My 101 year old Aunt isolated in Brooklyn is a 100% Trump supporter.
We are all frustrated & alarmed and on this site I think it is clear that we lay the blame for many problems & injustices at the feet of the Left. I certainly do.
But many New Yorkers are hardworking family oriented people who love America and voted Trump. It’s hard for their numbers to overcome the fraud & the welfare,& social justice crowd.
