My understanding is that the 2017 travel ban was for Iranians coming here. It wasn’t for U.S. citizens going to visit family in Iran. The 2nd most recent ban was for any travel

The Supreme Court upheld in 2018 that the original ban was constitutional.

No, you’re misunderstanding the ban. The woman in N.Y. travelled to Iran to visit family. That was never part of the ban. The ban was not allowing Iranians to come here.

This is misleading.
The Iran travel ban the author is referring to, is the one put in place back in 2017 (I believe). It had nothing to do with the virus. The travel restrictions regarding COVID-19 and Iran, were put in place on Feb. 29th (I believe), a day before the AP announced that this woman traveler was diagnosed with the virus (Mar. 1). Those 2 things are not related. She returned before the COVID-19 ban was put in place.

That bears repeating. When you do a websearch, check the dates. Travel ban cases have been kicking around the courts since President Trump took office, and it was very difficult for me to prove or disprove what the source said, since there were so many articles from previous years.

I was just thinking yesterday, that there should be a widely posted correlation of sanctuary cities and cases of COVID19. I’d like to shout from the rooftops, “Isn’t being a sanctuary city GREAT, folks?” Sanctuary cities, letting all the disease-carrying refuse from other countries with low level health systems come and help themselves to our bounty, contributing practically nothing except foreign diseases and more mouths to feed, parasitizing our schools, hospitals, housing, etc.
