America Must Disentangle Itself From China

Never let a good crisis go to waste. – If the China virus produces no other positive outcome, at least it has clearly demonstrated to anyone with functioning synapses in their cranial cavities that our country can no longer afford to be entangled in any real way with the Chinese communist government. Let’s look at just some of the reasons why:

In a globalist world, secrecy kills. – Communist governments by their very nature are dishonest and secretive. They must take so many repugnant actions in order to exert control over the masses, actions that they can never allow civilized nations to see if they are to be allowed entre’ to global markets. As Axios detailed in a story Wednesday evening, the ChiComs’ secretive nature where coronavirus is concerned has had a devastating impact on the global economy and threatens to cost hundreds of thousands of human lives.

Axios has compiled a timeline of the earliest weeks of the coronavirus outbreak in China, highlighting when the cover-up started and ended — and showing how, during that time, the virus already started spreading around the world, including to the United States.

Why it matters: A study published in March indicated that if Chinese authorities had acted three weeks earlier than they did, the number of coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95% and its geographic spread limited.

This timeline, compiled from information reported by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the South China Morning Post and other sources, shows that China’s cover-up and the delay in serious measures to contain the virus lasted about three weeks.

That’s right: 95% of what you are seeing happening today in America and the rest of the world is directly the result of ChiCom dishonesty and secrecy. There simply must be a price to be paid for this level of mendacity.

ChiCom money corrupts other countries. – You can start this with the activities of Joe and Hunter Biden related to China while Quid Pro Joe was Vice President and Obama’s “point man” for China policy. Joe takes Hunter on a trip with him to China, and a week later Hunter’s fledgling firm secures $1.5 billion in Chinese largesse. If you don’t think this rank influence peddling corrupted Biden’s decision making related to U.S. foreign policy, I don’t even know what to say to you.

Then you have the way in which Chinese investments in American media operations have turned half of the White House press corps into blatant ChiCom stooges. After a reporter for OAN, Chanel Rion, asked President Trump how he feels about so many of her colleagues basically parroting ChiCom propaganda in their corrupt reporting yesterday, she was mercilessly harassed by those same colleagues for the rest of the day. After harassing Rion, those corrupt reporters then turned back to parroting ChiCom talking points.

Make no mistake about this: The content and tenor of what these “reporters” put onto the airwaves is dictated from the top down in these corrupt news organizations. Most, if not all of those corporations are heavily entangled with and dependent upon ChiCom money, and money talks, with these corrupt reporters serving as the mouthpiece. This is why you see these people react so emotionally every time President Trump correctly refers to this current plague as a virus that originated in China.

Supply chains are the economy’s life’s blood. – The one saving grace of our financial entanglements with China is that China’s economy is even more reliant on American money than vice versa. When we are more dependent on a communist country for pharmaceuticals and antibiotics than we are dependent on the Middle East for oil, we are enormously vulnerable as a country. Were China not so reliant on U.S. money, we would probably already be suffering from interruptions in pharmaceutical supplies. This cannot be allowed to stand.

It is an act of outright insanity to allow the very health of our citizens to be in the hands of a communist government. This must change, and this crisis affords the President and members of congress who aren’t also in the pockets of the ChiComs the opportunity to force the change. We need new regulations requiring the entire supply chains of critical goods like pharmaceuticals to be contained within our borders.

Here’s the good news. – The entire Trump economic plan from Day 1 has been designed to gradually force the decoupling of the U.S. economy from China. A big part of making America great again is to bring U.S. manufacturing, U.S. supply chains and U.S. jobs back home from China and other parts of the world. This is what Trump’s trade and tariff policies have been working to achieve.

Now, we have this crisis, caused entirely by ChiCom dishonesty and secrecy, that gives the President an opening to accelerate that process. It seems increasingly likely that setting the stage for taking some aggressive action in this realm is why the President has been so focused on making sure everyone understands that China brought this problem to our shores. The ChiComs understand this, which is why they and their corrupt media toadies in the U.S. have responded to the President’s use of the term “Chinese virus” in such panicked tones.

This is what Donald Trump promised to do throughout his campaign for the presidency, and this is one of the main things we elected him to do. No president in American history has been so myopically focused on keeping the promises made during his campaign as Trump has been.

Decoupling from China is an enormous challenge, but Donald Trump has proved repeatedly throughout his adult life that enormous challenges are his favorite kind.

I was against America getting involved with China in the mid to late 70’s and through to the present.

I took a lot of heat from my wife’s relatives at the Thanksgiving table discussions back then, - where are they now?

We don’t need China, -they need us. End it. It should have never happened. The same goes for the Global Economy garbage and so on. America is a stand alone country. To hell with the Politicians and their big time World Order pipe dreams.

i agree we need to decouple. I wonder how much of the stock market sell off was Chinese investment. The thing is, our industry is about to take off, needs will be met by US companies. I wish I was smart about stocks (but I am not) because I would invest now. Unfortunately I wouldn’t have an idea of what to invest in.

America should disengage from an inherently dishonest , amoral regime that suppresses freedom of conscience, religion, economic choices, locks up its own citizens in concentration camps, etc, etc but it won’t. Consider the following:

1) China by early November knew that it had an epidemic from a new and virulent virus. Not only did it not share this information with the world community, but it allowed unrestricted air travel from the epicenter Wusan to all points in the world. This at best is criminal negligence and criminally negligent homicide on a mass scale. Think anyone will do anything about it?
2) One of the more intriguing scenarios, but unproven and probably not true, is the story that this virus was a product of the Chinese biological weapons lab in Wusan. When the scientists were done with the lab animals used in their experiments, it has been said that the poorly paid workers in the lab sold the animals in the Wusan open meat market. Now if our politically correct CIA or NSA had credible data that this actually happened do you believe that the deep state apparatchiks would actually tell Trump. And if they did , would Trump tell the American people and risk war and massive economic disruptions?

When you consider these scenarios, you begin to understand the true , vile nature of globalism and the consequences of relinquishing national sovereignty. Imagine if the Democrats were in total power and Biden were President.

Start with an ultimatum to Apple - bring back all manufacturing to America or face a 50% tariff on your products. You get to choose your market. Theirs or ours.

I say this as an Apple user. Need to bring the hammer down on them hard.

_our_ banks and _our_ corporations made the changes enabling Communist Red China to become a superpower; at the expense of our own country.

_our_ people who did these things are enemies of USA.

USA should un-ravel all this treasonous activity and become the world’s manufacturing center, again.

Unfortunately, _our_ country is completely un-united and we’ve give way too much money to DC and enemies, foreign and domestic. So we will never see this needed reform happen. The creatures we’ve created are too powerful. They rule USA.

Up until President Trump took office, I always believed that extracting ourselves from China was problematic, since they held so many US $$ - they could dump them and tank our economy.

Then Donald Trump comes along, and gets the economy humming and begins to confront China. My worries vanished as I realized that with a strong enough economy, the US could win a trade war or currency war with China.

Now, with the stock market down 33% and joblessness spiking, I’m worried again.
