The over-hyped Covid-19 scare to Make PDJT look bad!
March 11, 2020 | Vanity with research

Yes, any preventable death is bad, but I have never seen so much hype over a viral pandemic as this in my 60 years since arriving in United States.

Since it started circulating in the spring of 2009, H1N1 has infected about 100 million Americans, killing about 75,000 and sending 936,000 to the hospital, the CDC estimates. https://www.statnews.com/2019/06/11/h1n1-swine-flu-10-years-later/

It will be a long time before Covid-19 will kill 75,000 Americans, if at all. But I do not recall the hype in 2009 about H1N1. But it was Obama administration in charge, so media had no reason to freakout.

CDC estimates* that, from October 1, 2019, through February 29, 2020, there have been : 20,000 – 52,000 flu deaths. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimates.htm

A death is a death whether it is from common Flu or covid-19. Both common flu and covid require the same precautions to minimize chance of infection. While it may be true that covid-19 is more infectious than common flu, if it kills less than 52,000 Americans this season, why does it deserve so much more hype than Flu?

Estimated Number of Deaths for the Four Major Cancers, 2019 606,880 deaths from cancer. https://www.cancer.org/content/dam/cancer-org/research/cancer-facts-and-statistics/annual-cancer-facts-and-figures/2019/estimated-deaths-for-the-four-major-cancers-by-sex-and-age-group-2019.pdf

Many cancers occur due to bad behavior by people. Stastically smokers and 2nd hand smokers get at least 5 times more lung cancer than non-smokers. Obese people get more cancers than people those who are not. So where is the hype about enormous cost of treating cancer patients?

In year 2018, 39,888 people died from traffic accidents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_traffic-related_death_rate

Are any auto accdents preventable? For sure if you do not drive whendrunk or high on ganja or while texting. Why media is not hyping that aspect which major cause of auto accidents?

In year 2018, Drug overdose deaths in US were 67,367 https://www.drugabuse.gov/related-topics/trends-statistics/overdose-death-rates

Another man-made cause of deaths. I doubt if covid will kill 67,367 Americans in one year.

At least 15,292 people were fatally shot in The United States in 2019, excluding suicides. https://www.thetrace.org/2020/01/gun-deaths-2019-increase/

Those people were shot by somebody else, and their deaths are just as final as those caused by covid-19. I can't even imagine the freakout by media if 15,292 die from covid-19 this year.

Not saying that but I DO know how our FERAL Government operates.

Take the $8.3 billion taxpayer money that was signed into law for this CV19 hoax. PDJT only wanted $2.3 billion but yet he happily signed it into law with tons of pork in it.

That was stupid and not to the best interest of this country. He could have shot it down and found the money elsewhere.

BUT of course, you are smarter. You probably clapped and are just giddy.

By doing that he took the issue away from the dems politically. And he's going to need every penny of that money for this crisis.

No, you are right. Every whore at the door step is going to be shouting "national emergency" and the money will fly out like farts from a pigs ass

You don't think this is a national emergency? After seeing what is happening in virtually every other country in the world?

Hey stupid, you answered your own question. IN OTHER COUNTRIES!!!!!! PDJT stopped the importation right off the bat.

He made the right decision there but signing a $8.3 billion port laden bill was going way past what is required.

It is all a bunch of pearl clutching from the likes of people like YOU who are exasperating the problem. Now go slink off into your Lysol room and leave me alone.....

“Get back to me in 2 weeks, which is about how far behind Italy we are on the curve.

16 days ago Italy had 22 known cases.

Today they passed 12,000 infected, 1000 dead“

So by my figuring, keeping the same rate as you sight above, it will take 219yrs to infect all of Italy (roughly) and 2,630yrs to kill all of Italy.

I think we will be ok....

Italy had no ban on Chinese visitors or workers coming from China. I understand there are lot of Chinese working in Italy. Trump was smart to ban incoming travel from China. I do not expect our infection rates will come close to Italy.

That rate cited increases by about 1 1/2 times every day. At that rate in 10 or 11 days there will be 1 million infected in Italy. About 2 weeks after that 60 million..which is about the population of Italy.

But don't worry....all of Italy's hospitals will have long since ceased to be operational by then.

“About 2 weeks after that 60 million”

So inside a month you predict 60 million cases in Italy. Got it......

I work for a health department, so I remember H1N1. As serious as it was, there was no talk of closing down business after business. No talk of not leaving your house. No talk of layoffs or the cruise ship and airline industries being crippled.

I’m not saying CV is not serious. But something about all this seems engineered to destroy our economy and way of life. Like there is more to this than meets the eye. As a believer, I can’t help but think a stage is being set.

Ummm...no. They will go full China first. I'm not sure at what point they'll get the political will to do that.

I was just pointing out that the rate cited would lead to that if nothing changed.

This^^^^^

I will add this. It seemed weird how quickly China cracked down on this. Doubly weird how other countries jumped on it. Which brings me to this possibility.

What if China was weaponizing this and it got out. It would explain Chinas actions. Other countries actions explained cause gov’ts know what other countries are doing, yes even black projects (through intelligence)

If this is true, we can all thank goodness that the Chinese are terrible at everything they try to do.

We are quickly heading towards a point where the panic will be far more deadly and destructive than the virus will ever be.

H1N1 turned out to be kind of a nothing burger...lots of cases not that many fatalities as compared to “regular flu”...and after the 2009 season it was classified as a “regular flu” and there was a flu shot/vaccine for it.

MERS = 2,442 cases worldwide (over 7 years), 857 fatalities.
SARS = 8,098 worldwide cases, 774 fatalities total (8 in the USA).
H1N1 (2009 season) = 60 million cases, 12,649 fatalities (less fatalities than the combined total of other “regular flu” strains circulating at the time).

If COVID-19 gets to a million cases in the USA the current stats (i.e. South Korea) show 7,000 fatalities. If it gets to 45 million cases like a bad “regular flu” season/year then it is bad news. The hope is to contain/slow progression now so the hospital system isn’t over-strained in the next few months.

"Jesus. Christ." He alone can solve world problems. He alone will be accepted or rejected by every person in history. He alone has the power to annihilate Covid-19 in one second. Why doesn't He? Good question. Ask Him.

This is a situation where Trump’s style is killing him. He goes from dismissive one day, to alarming the next. He needed to set expectations cautiously from the onset, and limit his comments in deference to the experts.

Many like Steve Bannon and Gordon Chang have been saying for months that the tariffs have China on the ropes. Bannon has said China is in a state of collapse, and compared it to Japan when we embargoed oil prior to WWII.

Add to that the Hong Kong protests.

Is this a bio-attack?

That would be really, really desperate of China, but look at Pearl Harbor.
