US President Donald Trump addressed the media at a conference on the outbreak of coronavirus at the White House, Washington DC on February 26.
A video of a New York Post journalist surfaced online which showed her mocking an Indian reporter during the conference, and it has left netizens angry.
In the viral clip, an Indian journalist can be seen raising a question about India-US relationships post Trumps two-day visit to the country. While the Indian reporter was questioning Trump, the New York Post reporter, who was sitting behind him, was seen making faces at him.
A Twitter user with the handle @damonimani shared the video with the caption: "Who is that reporter in the green mocking an Indian reporter? I bet she thinks Trump is racist."

I think she was annoyed that he said something positive & flattering about Trump & his visit to India.
And she was probably annoyed that he was seated a row in front of her.
You can see her say “Who is this guy”.
There are two more females behind her who are also laughing.
Orwell had the world of 1984 cleansing themselves with two minute daily hate sessions, but it is done here with twitter pearl clutching.
I saw the press conference, and also thought the guy was asking about something that was off topic. That being said, I was pleased with President Trump's response. He could have just dismissed the question as being irrelevant to the subject at hand, but he didn't do that. Instead he was very complimentary of the people of India, and expressed his appreciation for the hospitality that was shown to him during the trip. He then concluded his answer by politely saying that he wanted to address questions related to the efforts to contain the Corona virus. If he had been dismissive of the man's question, the Dems would have jumped all over him for treating the man poorly, and of course, called him a racist.
I went to her website, she is alJezerra trained and has spent time in india.
She was just rude
And the reporterette behind her, giggling at her phone during that WH presser.
Disgraceful women, everywhere...
C-word.
Trump graciously responded to the Indian reporter but also said to the group they needed to stay focused on the virus before he went on for other questions.
Anyone could understand why the Indian Journalist ceased the moment......after all Trump is the one who singled him out first. Additionally the people in India were very proud to have Trump visit, so no wonder the Journalist wanted to draw attention to Trumps visit.
The guy did stumble around trying to get his footing....he knew in that moment he was representing India and they were all so proud for the visit there. I give the guy a huge pass since it was Trump who picked him first.
Intersting also is the articles author didn’t take the time to find out the name of the “Indian Reporter” which she consistantly referred to him as.
I don’t know, but she is not guilty.
Truth be told, when I watched it, I thought to myself "This idiot isn't even going to ask a question about the TOPIC of the press conference"
Same here. I watched it live and rolled my eyes when the Indian journalist not only didn't ask a question related to the presser but made more of a statement rather than asking a question.
The Indian reporter, Raghubir Goyal, is a fixture in the White House press room and a known quantity. President Trump called on Goyal because he wanted to be able to say something about the India state visit without deflecting too much attention from the purpose of the briefing.
