If this coronavirus outbreak is not a serious threat, then why is the U.S. government preparing to quarantine victims all over America? As you will see below, 11 U.S. military bases located close to major airports are being converted into “quarantine centers” for potential patients. When I first learned about this, I was greatly alarmed, because we have all seen what is going on in China right now. People are literally being physically dragged out of their homes and are being forcibly relocated to “mass quarantine camps” with hordes of other very sick people. Sadly, many of them will never come out of those camps alive. If this virus starts spreading like wildfire here in the United States, is it possible that something similar could start happening here?
The vast majority of the confirmed cases are still in China, but over the last couple of weeks the number of cases in the rest of the world has escalated dramatically.
Back on January 20th there were only 4 confirmed cases outside of China and now there are 464. At this point there are victims in at least 28 different countries, and that number is almost certain to keep growing.
The reason why the virus has already spread to so many nations is because it is highly contagious. Scientists have discovered that it can be transmitted from person to person very easily, it has an incubation period of up to 24 days, and it can survive on smooth surfaces for up to 9 days.

Are there pictures of the quarantine camps on the blog?
Yes but it’s dangerous to humans and pets.
Notice those military bases are in large population cities. Sure, let them out of quarantine in 14 days instead of 24 and you’ve successfully wiped out the US. CA has already let one evacuee out only to find out he did have it.
Maybe they’re camps for the “important” people to be isolated from the dregs.
Look at the alternatives. There are no good ones.
UV will kill virus on relatively clean surfaces. If there is debris on the surface, it will shield the virus. So if, for example, there is a hunk of mucous on the surface, you will need something in addition to the UV to kill it. I would go with a hospital disinfectant to sanitize and clean the surface.
It’s because those are the remaining-open entry points for flights from China.
If it’s true, it’s called “Be prepared”, just in case.

They can clear out buildings at Will. The military also has hazmat gear and are trained ion how to use it
They have testing equipment and they can pull medical personnel of assigned duties in short notice

Quarantines ARE necessary to save lives.
The alternatives are letting it spread through the population and kill 2% to 18% of those that catch it, and putting 16% of them into intensive care.
This article is full of hyperbole.
But to address the central point, people are being quarantined for 14 days (which isn’t a true quarantine, which is 40 days) because they are coming from a place where corona virus is on the loose. Doing this for 14 days is surely inconvenient for them, but it isn’t like they are in a cold, wet cell with a cement floor, being beaten every few hours and fed a tiny bit of worm-infested food. No, I’m sure that they are being treated quite well - and the purpose is to protect the rest of us, including the authors of hyperbolic blog articles.
Where did you get the idea that a true quarantine Is 40 days.?
There was a story yesterday I believe that Los Angeles has 1000 people on watch from LAX.
Most military bases except San Diego, Wilford Hall and Bathesda/Walter Reed have very minimal care facilities. A lot of the bases where I was assigned transfer most of their extended care or critical care patients to adjacent civilian hospitals. On base care is limited to initial treatment and triage.
What the military bases listed do have, is extensive but under used dormitory facilities with integral chow halls and the ability to isolate.
At least 10,000 Americans have died from the Flu since Thanksgiving. And it happens EVERY YEAR! Relax...
