America is prospering again; America is at peace on a scale not seen in modern times; and the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies can’t stand it. – Do you want to be governed by the people you elect to the executive and congressional branches of government? Or do you want to be ruled over by a vast administrative state occupied by millions of unelected and largely unaccountable bureaucrats?
That is the real question facing our society today, and NBC’s Democrat activist masquerading as a “journalist,” Chuck Todd, made his preference crystal clear today. In an interview with slow-witted Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, Todd attempted to lead his interviewee into buying into his obvious belief that the DOJ simply cannot be managed by political appointees put in place by an elected President:
“Are we at the point where we can not trust a political appointee to be in charge of Justice? Do you have to change the way we do this, create more of a CIA/FBI/Federal Reserve approach to appointments for Attorney General? Figure out some distance from the executive branch of some sort?”
In posing that particular loaded question, Todd illustrates the totalitarian mindset among the political left, a mindset that has formed the formed the foundation of every one of the major hoaxes the Democrat/Media propaganda complex has mounted against Donald Trump, and is now in the process of mounting against Attorney General William Barr, as I discussed this morning.
Writing at The Federalist, the great Mollie Hemingway laid it out this way in a terrific piece:
So much of the drama of the last three years of the Trump administration is about the conflict between the Constitution, which requires political oversight of the bureaucracy, and the Resistance’s strongly held view that political oversight of the administrative state is evil.
The Russia collusion hoax was perpetrated by bureaucrats who admitted they were motivated by a a belief that their foreign policy vision was more appropriate and legitimate than the one chosen by the American people when they elected Donald Trump to be their president.
Likewise, the Ukraine impeachment effort was ginned up by a group of bureaucrats who wished that President Trump had followed their “interagency consensus” rather than his foreign policy vision. And the latest Resistance-created drama is about whether Attorney General William Barr should continue to let agents do outlandish things as part of their now-debunked Russia collusion theory or exercise any oversight whatsoever.
The Democrats and their corrupt media toadies, like Todd, have spent the last four years trying in vain to make the case that America should be ruled by a permanent, leftwing/globalist Administrative State, not governed by the officials who are actually elected by voters.
The Administrative State prefers U.S. involvement in endless wars in the Middle East and Africa; it prefers a U.S. economy hamstrung by endless, abusive regulatory strictures; it would leave the Ukraine defenseless against Russian aggression; it wants endless chaos at our southern border caused by illegal immigration, human smuggling and the drug trade; it favors the redistribution of American wealth to rest of the world through globalist arrangements like NATO and the Paris Climate Accords and Obama’s Iran deal.
This is the very heart of war President Trump has been fighting, almost alone, against the D.C. Swamp. William Barr’s apparent support of the Trump view in this war is why Democrats and fake journalists like Chuck Todd are mounting this new hoax against him.
If America is to survive as a constitutional Republic, it is a war that Trump and Barr must win.
That is all.
But he was completely fine with Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Janet Reno... others.
Bureaucrats loyal to the party.
You see, under communism, those loyal to the party were rewarded and ran the nation.
Those who set the party policy were living the lavish lifestyle unconcerned with the daily grind.

Amazing also, that Bush and every candidate against Trump couldn’t see this, but he did.
If we win the House, keep the Senate, the next four years will be like the Golden Age of Pericles.
We are effectively ruled by the unelected beaureacrats and the unelected judges. This is by design, giving the elected puppets means to dodge accountability while raking in the graft.
That’s right. They were part of the Nomenclatura.
We already are ruled by them. Judge’s bear no liability or responsibility for their actions. All the Democrat deep staters are walking around doing as they please.

Elected, unelected — the Left doesn’t care who does the ruling, as long as they’re Leftist.
Like politicians should be term limited, dot gov bureaucrats should be moved regularly from agency to agency so they can’t get their little fiefdoms set up and running.

” Beware the administrative state” This in essence was the lesson that DeTocqueville’s study of the difference between the French and American revolutions developed. The Americans started fresh from the small towns and built up with their government. The French, when they toppled the monarchy, kept the bureaucracy and lost their freedom to an eventual emperor. It took 250 years but we have lapsed into the same thing.
