On Friday the Virginia state House committee passed a bill that would ban the sale of certain semi-automatic firearms, including the popular AR-15 style rifles.
The bill is named “H.B. 961” and would also ban silencers and magazines that hold more than 12 rounds.
It was passed out of the House Public Safety Committee by a vote of 12-9.
The bill, which has the support of Virginia Gov. Ralph “Blackface” Northam will now make its way to the Democratic-controlled House of Delegates.
Pro-Second Amendment patriots packed the committee room for the vote, and when it passed, the crowd went ballistic and even started fighting with police asking them what side they were on.
The crowd got so rowdy that law enforcement was forced to break it up.
After the vote passed, NRA spokeswoman Catherine Mortensen described the bill as an “egregious gun ban” that will “make millions of law-abiding Virginian’s felons overnight.”

Virginians got what they voted for. Virginians who stayed home got what they didn’t vote for.
They want to take guns from non-violent good guys while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
There is no doubt about the above statement, nor is any further discussion of it possible.
Interesting that a person who has never been at odds with the law suddenly wakes up one morning and finds he is now a felon in his own home for doing.....nothing!
Hopefully the Virginia Senate will block this one the same as they did the last one a few days ago.

In a better world, the good, pro-second amendment citizens of Virginia would be contacting their federal lawmakers to work with Congress to exercise its 14th Amendment (14A) power to discourage the activist Democrats destroying their commonwealth from abridging their constitutionally enumerated protections, 2nd Amendment (2A) in this example, likewise for the other states.
From the 14th Amendment:
"Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

In fact, consider that the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1, had included 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as examples of constitutionally enumerated protections that 14A applies to the states.

We’re still stuck with a worthless Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably munch popcorn while watching CNN show renegade commonwealth officials unconstitutionally seizing the firearms of Virginia citizens.
The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and state governments…
All patriots in the nation need to come to the rescue of the oppressed citizens of Virginia by electing a new patriot Congress that will not only promise to fully uphold PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, now KAGA, but will also do this.
New patriot lawmakers also need to promise to do their 14A duty to make penal laws that discourage state / commonwealth actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, 2nd Amendment in this example.
