Virginians got what they voted for. Virginians who stayed home got what they didn’t vote for.
They want to take guns from non-violent good guys while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
There is no doubt about the above statement, nor is any further discussion of it possible.
Interesting that a person who has never been at odds with the law suddenly wakes up one morning and finds he is now a felon in his own home for doing.....nothing!

There are situations where I might comply with thugs; I was once mugged by four "youths" and let them take my $10. The one situation where any sensible person will fight to the death is when the thugs attempt to remove your ability to resist whatever they may choose to do to you. In a better world, the good, pro-second amendment citizens of Virginia would be contacting their federal lawmakers to work with Congress to exercise its 14th Amendment (14A) power to discourage the activist Democrats destroying their commonwealth from abridging their constitutionally enumerated protections, 2nd Amendment (2A) in this example, likewise for the other states.
From the 14th Amendment:
"Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
"Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
In fact, consider that the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1, had included 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as examples of constitutionally enumerated protections that 14A applies to the states.

All patriots in the nation need to come to the rescue of the oppressed citizens of Virginia by electing a new patriot Congress that will not only promise to fully uphold PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, now KAGA, but will also do this.
New patriot lawmakers also need to promise to do their 14A duty to make penal laws that discourage state / commonwealth actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, 2nd Amendment in this example.

What’s next with this unknown coronavirus pathogen, forced compliance to a “hospital”, filled with possible exposed furnishings, personnel, and patients?
A big problem is that law enforcement trying to enforce this, will receive the blunt of the back lash from non compliance citizens, where the goober mint members and governor who passed the unconstitutional laws should actually be on the receiving end instead.

1. Redefine "assault weapon". It will get to the point where they re-classify all semi-auto rifles and shotguns (including pump actions) as assault weapons.
2. Go the route of the NFA-1934 and make ownership of these newly re-classified assault weapons subject to the same rules, i.e., background check, federal registry, and tax. This would apply to all new firearms on the market and those already in private possession.
3. Or just ban the lawful commerce and ownership of these weapons.
4. A "firearm registry" is necessary to identify who owns what guns, which is necessary for the eventual confiscation. At some point, the blue states or the Congress, will run up against the Federal Firearm Owners' Protection Act-1986 which forbids the federal government from creating a national firearm registry. That is when matters will get "verrrry interesting". Everything up to that point is just the long, steady advance of progressivism.
