Adam Schiff! Masterfully leading astray the anti-Trumpers and his Party’s faithful
What does it say about our country, when one political Party, the Democratic Party, deeply involved with the corruption in Ukraine, uses it as part of their effort to try and discredit the other Party’s candidate for President and then President, particularly after he begins to look into such corruption?
Getting a majority in the House of Representatives, this Party, with zero support from the minority Party, voted in December to recommend to the Senate the President’s removal from office, and this week spent four days on national television making their case for his removal to the US Senate.
There is NO CASE. There was never any reasonable suspicion or probable cause to start this asinine thing to begin with. It is a hoax and unconstitutional.

The Rats know they will never get 67 Votes, but they are hoping to peel off just one Republican Senator to Vote for Impeachment so they can say there was Bipartisan Support to remove POTUS Trump all the way to the November Election.
If they can get four, they will crow about a Bipartisan Majority in the Senate wanting to remove him from Office.

This is a very bad idea, it would provide the Democrats with ample ammunition to continue this saga of lies. Only a verdict of not guilty will suffice and this can and will occur as soon as the questions period is finished. No witnesses, no additional phony evidence and the end of fanatical lies from the Democrats. It will be over.
I agree 100%. This thing must come to its conclusion with a vote to acquit or remove.
This week is going to be fantastic. The case was destroyed in less than 2 hours and the House managers have to sit through 2 more days of destruction. The question period will be interesting.
Texas Rep. John Radcliffe told Maria Bartiromo (Sunday) that Adam Schiff buried one of his secret interviews conducted in private behind closed doors during the impeachment inquiry.
While Schiff used numerous quotes from 17 'witnesses', he chose not to even acknowledge the 18th interview with Inspector General Michael Atkinson.
That 179 page report stated that the whistle blower that Schiff used to instigate the impeachment vote lied in his written statement and did so again while under oath during oral testimony.
According to Radcliffe, the report also stated that the coordination and timing of the news leaks between the Schiff team and the whistle blower, who Schiff claims not to know, had gone on for several months, possibly over a year.
All these things are the “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” - fruit from an “investigation” was unconstitutionally and illegally launched. Continuing on with these proceedings ignores the fact that there should be no proceedings.
What are you going to do with that?
Is it now OK for government to conduct at-will investigations (on anyone) without first having reasonable suspicion and at some point early on probable cause as the 4th Amendment demands?
Are we now a third-world dictatorship that allows these unjust “investigations”? Is it OK for these Leftist Thugs to violate the Constitution and for the Right to ratify that violation by ignoring the poisonous fruit they are now partaking of?

The focus to be made very public should have been on the utterly unconstitutional launch of these investigations to begin with. The is a very GOOD idea.

Nancy Pelosi proclaimed that impeachment was forever. The approach that you suggest will ensure that her slogan will be the one that lingers. Only a verdict will deliver a better prononcement: Vindication is forever. Dismissal is what you have to do when you don’t have the votes to declare not guilty.
Just the opposite.
"Impeachment" means an adjudicated charge, in this case a CHARGE of Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. The impeachment process is akin to a grand jury process - both amalgamate CHARGES. The Senate tries the one charged. The Senate does NOT REMOVE the charges, only decides whether the target is guilty or innocent of those charges. The impeachment, as with Bill Clinton's, remains.
Your approach RATIFIES the House Impeachment process and charge, regardless of Senate results, which is what Pelosi was talking about. The Senate can rule Trump innocent but the impeachment (charge) is not erased.
My argument is the House impeachment process was unconstitutional, illegal, and thus, invalid. My argument is the impeachment itself should be thrown out for the reason I previously gave.
All true, but useless in this discussion. Make the Constitutional and Academic argument and you will lose. People and the media could care less about any of this, if you doubt me, look at how easily the public and the media have been bought into the lies of the Democrat House.
A dismissal will be an engraved invitation to another impeachment. The Senate must find him not guilty and then the voters must punish the Democrats for their foolish behavior. Going wobbly on this either through your argument or the argument that Trump was wrong but his misbehavior did not rise to the level of impeachment is what the Never Trumpers are advocating. That is the way to lose the 2020 election across the board.
Not if it's accompanied by a resounding rebuke and rationale as to why the impeachment process was a type of the Jacobean Reign of Terror from the start. Again, it's just the opposite of what you say here. This is an opportunity to slam the Left HARD on their careless way of launching an unconstitutional, lawless and bad-faith investigation. If you did it right, the Left would be reluctant to try this again. However, skipping over the utter lawless and unjust initiation of this impeachment leaves the future wide open for more abuse.
I think you mean well, but you're doing the loser GOP hand-wringing worry of political expediency as more important than doing the right thing. It also says that the American people are stupid. They are not stupid.
We need to get back to enforcing the Constitution. As Reagan said, plainly explain the truth of why a choice is in their best interests, the people will agree with that choice. People need to understand that the Constitution is both the Supreme Law of the Land and the only protector of freedom from the tyranny of the Left. The goal here is to recover our Free Constitutional Republic.
We do that by ENFORCING the Constitution, not by more acquiescence to unconstitutional federal acts in the name of political expediency. Divine Providence of God Almighty will back up acting on the truth as he did 250 years ago, and He is the One who will bring our country back now.
The fight for freedom (in this case our Free Constitutional Republic) is a good fight of faith. It take faith the attain and retain freedom.
