n the impeachment hoax, Democrats are illegally using taxpayer funds to manipulate the 2020 election. We are watching a Democrat Party campaign event set in the U.S. Capitol. This is the best version of a Trump rally Democrats can manage.
Yet it requires a scramble to handle the latest surprises. I hate last-minute “bombshells” because the timing deprives the accused of the time and ability to properly respond. Springing last-minute surprises is fundamentally unfair.
On January 16, 2020, just as the U.S. Senate and the Chief Justice were kicking off an impeachment trial, GAO, an agency of the U.S. Congress, suddenly issued a false and erroneous report:
He didn’t violate the law.
He didn’t withhold funds.
The GAO is not a body which judges whether laws are broken or not.

It's completely a lie anyway, and obviously motivated by partisan politics. What is needed is an immediate housecleaning at GAO, and colonoscopy-level investigations of everyone from the GAO who was involved in the smear.
Pelosi knew the GAO was going to issue this conclusion in their report. I think that’s why she held onto the Articles of Impeachment for so long, and why she was so smug and giddy at the “signing ceremony.” She timed the release of the Articles to coincide with the release of this GAO report.

The GAO is in NO position whatsoever to make judgemental add-hock verdict/opinion against Trump in a vocal/written cavalier declaration/report that a crime was committed.

DoD continued to work on the contracts during the time the funds were on hold to be ready to obligate them when they were released. So technically while the funds may have been on hold, it didn't really hold up the overall process. Not to mention that there is an automatic 15 day hold between apportionment and obligation from the day that OMB notifies congress that the apportionment is complete.
The media is very careful to not explain the exact process in order to maintain the illusion that Ukraine was sitting there waiting for a check that wasn't in the mail.

Why did they do the headline like this? I read from a distance and the first thing I saw was
GAO HIT PIECE - TRUMP GETS IT WRONG.
Making one word not in caps or smaller can trick the eye into seeing two separate statements.
We cannot live with these people anymore. You cannot establish contracts with liars.
