I've read reasonable theorizing that Pientka flipped and is being kept under the radar by Barr/Durham until his testimony is needed. Otherwise, why is his treatment so different form Strozk's and Page's?
All the people saying nobody will go down for Spygate think that nothing changed in 2016. Maybe they are right, but I don't think so.
