He can try this on appeal because I have a feeling Sullivan is sending him to jail. Final move of a desperate man.

Flynn’s lawyer is no fool and he is not doing this against her advice.

Therefore to accuse Flynn of being moron is a mistake.

There were a few legally astute Freepers on here back in June who tore Flynn's new lawyer to shreds for the approach she took when filing her motion to have the charges dismissed. Those Freepers were largely vindicated when the motion for dismissal was denied.

I'm speculating whether Flynn is a moron simply because he's been fighting legal battles over the last 7+ months that he should have been fighting BEFORE he made his plea deal in 2017.

My wild prediction is the judge will grant the withdrawn and the government will then drop the charges.

BOOM!

Maybe since the prosecutors changed their recommendations then it gives Flynn an opening to change his plea.

The FIB agents who framed him need to spend long terms in prison.

In 2017 Flynn had lawyers who for whatever reason gave him bad advice.

There's no such thing as "bad advice" when you sign a sworn statement yourself admitting guilt in a case. He was either guilty as charged, or he wasn't. Changing his mind about this simple (but critical) fact TWO YEARS LATER makes him look like a jackass, and has probably ended up pissing off the judge in the case to no end.

Under normal circumstances it probably would, but in this case the prosecutors changed their sentencing recommendation because Flynn failed to meet the terms of his plea deal.

So probably a long shot.

I was reading a Judicial Watch email today and it discussed dismissing the charges of “lack of candor” both not under oath and under oath against McCabe because he was stressed. Jeff Sessions was involved in this.

Just so effing wrong!

“Sydney has withdrawn Gen. Flynn’s guilty plea. “

Not that simple. Read part the headline.

I believe you are an attorney, so I certainly will not argue the law with you as I am not qualified to do so.

However I have been around a long time and have been involved or been a close observer of quite a few legal matters.

The bottom line is that one can find a lawyer to argue either side of any question imaginable.

The problem is finding one who is really as good as he thinks he is. In short, the legal profession has more than its share of quacks.

Ball is now in your court Van Grack - indict and go to trial or drop the matter altogether. Although I doubt Sidney Powell is going to left slink away into the night without filing a civil lawsuit against the perps.

Does the judge have a choice? Honestly curious

The judge previously was encouraging to take back his plea.

From Sidney Powell:

We just filed a Motion to Withdraw the plea of @GenFlynn because the government acted in bad faith, with vindictiveness, and breached the plea agreement pursuant to which he has cooperated fully at great personal expense and “held back nothing” according to #prosecuters until
