Meet Patsy the border collie. Patsy saved a flock of sheep from fire. In this photo, you can see the Australian bushfires near the doggos owners farm. With bushfires still raging in Australia, over 500 million animals have died there since September. However, communities are coming together, people are volunteering to fight the blazes, and complete strangers all over the world are donating what they can to support Australia. Whats more, some animals are turning out to be real heroes and theyre saving their fellow animals.
Border collies and Border collie mixes are the Best!!
500 million animals?
They must be counting insects.
Did she put the bite on the Muslim firebugs?
I believe/recall reading that they're counting mammals, birds and reptiles of all kinds in that number.
I have one.
They can also be the most stubborn and willful dogs you’re ever going to meet.
His pack instinct is also *very* strong, and if I’m home, he can’t bear to have me out of sight.
You know what I love more than anything?
Canine HEROES!
Thank you, Patsy!
She looks like a mix of border collie and Queensland Heeler
Give her a steak.
And poisonous snakes.
Pack instinct. Apparently why my cat grooms me for parasites by sucking my hair.
Yup! I have a Border collie Sheltie mix who gets upset for a short while when someone leaves the room. VERY pack oriented.
Each day he makes sure we alternate walking the way he wants to go with the way I want to go. He has such an amazing sense of fairness! Plus, stubbornness, too! Heh.
Yup.. Definitely Heeler in mix.
Absolutely horrible what is happening there. I feel so sorry for those Aussies and the animals there.
I had a dachshund that self-identified as a border collie.
She always wanted everyone in the same room. She would go and “fuss” at you for awhile if you left the room. Sometimes I thought we weren’t so much her pack as her staff. She was a demanding (and hilarious!) 4-legged “princess”!
LOL..I Love it!!
