Who wants to participate in a music play-off bracket-type poll for best songs of the '70s?
2 and 5 years ago I ran "tournaments" to pick the best songs of the '70s and '80s, based on Billboard rankings, so only the best of the best were included!
You can view how this played out here:

I want to do that for the '60s, and some posters expressed interest in the '60s back then.

Anyone in? I will create a ping-list to ensure everyone who is interested is notified of round results and new rounds, etc. (This would not exclude anyone from voting, just ensure many people would vote.)

Count me in. Some of favorite tunes were recorded in the 60’s...and 50’s.

Pinging a few who had 60s interest as well as my old 70s ping!
Please consider joining for a tournament of the best 60s songs!
Anyone is welcome, any time, and I will add (or delete) you from my ping list for alerts.

Count me in. I like hundreds of tunes from the sixties.

I would recommend two lists. One of the obvious major songs that were huge hits (”Hey Jude”, “Runaway”, “Good Vibrations”) and one for great songs that weren’t big sellers and didn’t get a lot of airplay.

I basically just stick to the Billboard Pop charts. It’s hard enough as is.
Anyone who wants to do their own, feel free and add me to a ping!
I’m thinking of mixing it up a bit in the future with a different approach to the same decades. Same BB lists, but maybe a different twist to come up with the top 64 for play-offs.
