CNN has just settled a 275 million dollar law suit for slander against Kentucky HIgh School Senior, Nick Sandmann.
CNN blinked because they knew that they were going to get their ass handed to them. The rest of the left wing media will definitely take notice and behave accordingly.
Hopefully this break through for the 1st Amendment will help conservatives to step forward and sue the pants off media outlets who brazenly lie and slander them such as Justice Kavanaugh. In the mean time Nicks lawyers will be busy fielding a new set of clients. MAGA!

I will bet that Nick is set for life and then some.
When does he take on the next group that slandered him?
He needs to sue every last one of them. (and since he essentially won this one the rest should fall easier)
Between the backlash unleashed by Ricky Gervais and now this, it has been a bad day for political correctness. :-)
Winning.
There’s 2 more suits pending....The total of all was $800 mil
This is actually YUGE news but I came across it by accident. Sandmann still has suites against several other big news organization, The Washington Post, and NBC Universal. If CNN folded the other two should see the writing on the wall. Stay tuned.
Was a retraction and apology part of the settlement?
“I will bet that Nick is set for life and then some.”
The SJWs vowed to ruin his life forever, so I am happy to see him cash this check. Now I am hoping that he refuses to settle the remaining lawsuits. I hope he goes through the whole discovery thing and gets to the bottom of this PC madness.
Nothing was said about the settlement itself except that CNN caved and we don’t know the terms. The other suits are pending.
“Was a retraction and apology part of the settlement?”
Apparently not - but lots of threads on this one, and an overview suggests that this first one got them some capital in the bank, as well as some momentum, and they’ve still got two more suits lined up.
So theoretically if they wanted to try to bleed the WaPo dry, or force NBC into a groveling apology, or take either one all the way to court *with discovery* absent a full settlement, they’re in the driver’s seat to do so.
I wonder how much the settlement was? We will probably never know but I hope it was very large.
I would hope he shares some of this with his classmates that were also slandered and vilified while behaving with absolute propriety.
Some days you are the fire hydrant and some days you are THE DOG.
“Dog Nick” had a good day, not so for CNN the fire hydrant. :) :) :)
Sandmans attorney, L Lin Wood, published a list of 47 more potential suits. Its a real rogues gallery of leftists news and Hollyweird scum. Hopefully all get sued.
Forgot to mention this.
It is most amusing that the media filmed all this and then spun it as “Aggressive, Hatefull, Racist, Bigoted, Trump Supporters” is what sealed the case against them.
I am most pleased. When your enemy is cutting their own throat, never take away their knife!
Knowing that these lawsuits are constantly appealed by both sides up to the Court of Appeals, it makes me wonder if CNN decided to throw in the towel knowing that they would end up with an honest judge appointed by President Trump.
Keeping a straight face, saying nothing and acting like a responsible adult made Nick a very wealthy young man. Congratulations!!!
Hekk yeah!! It’s about time they were served up some justice for being a leftie stoolie mouthpiece propaganda outfit.
I especially liked Ricky’s line that most of the audience spent less time in school than Greta. True, but ouch!
The maniacs at the DUmp called his straight face a smirk directed at an old man.
.
post all the MSM on this - there is some. do it as individual threads.
this is written as if it isn’t on CNN! read it all:
7 Jan: CNN: CNN settles lawsuit with Nick Sandmann stemming from viral video controversy
By Oliver Darcy
An attorney for the student, Nicholas Sandmann, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Sandmann only tweeted, “Yes, we settled with CNN.”
The news was first reported by WXIX-TV. The local outlet said a settlement figure was not made public at a court hearing in Covington, Kentucky.
The settlement will allow CNN to avoid a lengthy and potentially unpredictable trial...
