It can be done but you have to have tour guides who know exactly where to be and when.
I was with christian group two years ago for a two week tour of south africa. We visited Johahesburg, Pielensburg game park, Cape Town, the Cape of Good hope. We also took a detour to botswana/namibia/zimbabwe where we stayed at the victoria hotel beside victoria falls—and went on a boat trip on the African Queen..
Our guides were first rate. The journey was a lot of fun. In the game parks we were in a number of situations near lions where there was a palpable sense of danger. the trucks in which we traveled were were a powerful bubble which the lions didn’t understand or attack. But it was clear that if we stepped outside the trucks at the wrong time—the tables would turn.
Some the neighborhoods we visited had the same feeling.

I think we should let the Afrikaans emigrate to our arid, supposedly non-fertile lands and let them homestead (Alaska, desolate places out west, Greenland after Trump buys it). I’ve heard that Afrikaans are the best farmers in the world, and their Christianity would give our nation a shot in the arm.
I think about a couple that I went to church with several years ago. They were medical students at the University of New Mexico. They were looking forward to going home to South Africa help the people there. Whenever I see anything about South Africa, I pray for them and hope that they are still alive.
