My guys have a harder time in winter staying normal healthy, with increased shedding and temperature and humidity swings and seasonal hay changes, they are more prone to stomach aches and gi slowdowns. For them this is a serious issue as these are pets that can die within 24 hours if we don't deal with it as soon as we notice something's wrong.
I pray all the time for them, i just pray for their good health and a happy day, that they eat and drink well, they enjoy all their hay, and all their fur is able to pass through them ok. They cant expel their fur like a cat so whatever is ingested has to get through, and if they don't eat enough problems can occur.
We've been fortunate this year to have caught these problems quickly but its stressful knowing how serious it is for them. If anyone is inclined to keep them in your prayers i'm grateful.
Darn.
I wish I’d thought of Llamas.
Prayers up for your babies and you.
No matter what pets you have you know my prayers are with you.
My girl is still having a rough night. Thought we got her over it but she had a little relapse. I seem to have helped her through it and am just watching her, probably all night. She gets more meds at 2am.
I’m betting on ferrets.
OK. Your user name lends credence to those who
wish to know what kind of critters we’re dealing
with. There are probably a few Freepers here who
could offer honest good advice as to how to help you
and your furry friends. In that light, I pray that
your buddies find comfort and relief
“what eats hay and has fur”
vegetarians...
I have offered prayers on your animal’s behalf.
Ferrets don’t eat hay.
But Guinea Pigs do.
And Chinchillas.
:-)
Tribbles have nothing on rabbits...
