THE Ohio State University dominated the first half but kicked 3 chip shot field goals. Then Sunshine looked like a galloping giraffe as he scored a rushing TD to make it a 2 pt game.

Good game. Give Clemson credit for not allowing touchdowns on those 3 possessions otherwise we’d be having a much different discussion right now.
Predictably, the media hypes the QB’s. Clemson’s defense is #1 against the pass and #8 against the run, so equal on offensive pass and run, OSU should mostly RUN. But also predictably, OSU came out passing almost all the time and came away with only 3.
Likewise, in Clemson’s first series, they mostly passed even though they are is #9 in passing but #1 in the run. The OSU defense is #2 against the pass and #6 against the run. So what should Clemson mostly do? RUN of course. But, like OSU’s first series, they mostly passed and came out empty.
OSU started paying attention and started running more.
At first, Clemson, was not listening. Second series on offense, Clemson mostly passes and has to punt. But then Clemson started running and has made it a close game.
The best part of this game is when OSU has the ball: OSU’s #1 scoring offence vs. Clemson’s #1 scoring defense.
Ohio St fans better pray that Dobbins is in for the 2nd half.
I think that the targeting call was bogus. The Clemson QB ducked into him while running to avoid being tackled.
That is where the momentum shifted
I’m not a fan of either team, but my opinion and that of the officials is that it was targeting. My opinion doesn’t matter a hill o beans. There’s another half to play.
LSU awaits.
Sounds like a good game. Can’t afford to pay ESPN to see it.
I don’t think Clemson or Ohio St can beat LSU..

Wade lowered his head and led with his helmet. It is up to the defensive player to avoid a head to head hit. It was an easy call to make.
