Penzey, the boss himself, has been nuts for years.

He probably thinks that he's cleaned out all the customers that didn't appreciate his hack emails over the years, so he's all in on the political partisanship.

I think his sister and BIL couldn't take the political BS, and started a competing spice company.

Their spices are no good anyway, so they have to do something. Overpriced and stale.

I have never heard of Penzey’s spice. I am in Colorado so maybe they don’t sell here. If I ever see it, I will be sure to avoid it.

They’ve been Trumps Haters since day one. Have had them on my ban list for years.

I stopped using their spices after their Trump Derangement syndrome became obvious and the owners told Trump supporters not to shop there. I use My Spice Sage( MySpiceSage.com) for great variety and prices.

They just can’t lose business fast enough.

There are places that sell better spoces than theirs.

Yes, the 1930s return. Unfortunately, nothing good can come of it, even with foresight and interdiction, both sides lose too much. Yet, it may be an inevitability, just another step in the cycles of humanity, like Seldon’s Plan or the cleansing of Redwood forests by fire removing the underbrush that chokes their growth.

My wife loved their spices, but now refuses to use them anymore after their CEO spewed forth all his anti-Trump garbage.

Thanks rktman. Tell the people who use 'em that you won't be eating at their houses any longer. It's a good way to shake out who is and isn't actually your friend. If that seems like a bridge too far, call independent restaurants in your area and ask them where they get their spices and why you want to know.
