As Democrats intone piously about saving the republic from a president who has "abused his power" and "committed high crimes," and the news media call it all "historic," somewhere, behind the scenes, the red-state Democrats are panicking.
According to the Daily Caller:
New internal polling by the Trump campaign suggests Democrats in pro-Trump districts should avoid supporting impeachment or risk losing re-election.
The new poll, released Tuesday, surveyed 900 likely voters in the 30 congressional districts that President Donald Trump won in 2016 but are currently occupied by Democrats.
Nice to see what everyone suspected. Red-state Democrats in districts that voted for Trump are going to pay. And as the newest members of Congress, they are also the weakest of political base and therefore the easiest to kick out.
It makes sense for three reasons beyond the usual discussions about the merits of the entire sham.
One, most of these people were elected to their seats by the flimsiest of margins. In California, a lot of them got in through the miracle of ballot-harvesting by illegals. Cheating of this kind gets very hard when it's not close. It's starting to get "not close."
Two, voters don't like their choices disrespected. A lot of people who voted for Trump cast their votes to "send a message" to the Washington swamp, that place where a vice president's son can make $80,000 a month just by following his father around on his taxpayer-paid jet trips abroad. They don't like news of congressmen entering the House desperate and emerging millionaires. They don't like congresspeople passing laws onto the public that they exempt themselves from. They don't like one set of laws for one group of people and another set for the rest of us. They don't like free stuff to foreigners who broke into the country illegally.

I hope they enjoy their final year in Congress. They had a choice and didn’t choose well.

You guys have a lot of faith in our elections. I don’t. If our votes were counted legitimately, I would join you, but Democrat fraud is rampant.
The Democrats really use polls.
They know this impeachment nonsense is killing them politically, but they still push it.
Why?
Because the Democrat leaders have committed crimes.
They are using this impeachment to try and stall any investigation into their crimes.
Nancy Pelosi doesn’t mind losing some House seats as long as she and her son stay out of prison.
They signed their death warrants the day they voted to move the investigation forward, how they vote on the actual articles doesn’t matter.. they are DOA.....
Hope all the fools who helped elect these party hacks enjoy the fact that all their hard work will get them a one term hack that will be ejected.

I agree, I truly worry about so much fraud on the left come the next election. Trump had better institute a TOTAL OVERHAUL of the voting process/rolls before November.

The one I most want to see gone is that smarmy little prick Conor Lamb from Pennsylvania. He campaigned as a USMC veteran. It turned out that his service lasted a whole 14 months, most of which was spent on the Club Med island of Okinawa riding his desk.

Dems dont care about losing re-election..they dont care about losing the House or not getting the Presidency..they know they wont get either..this is about staining Trump’s legacy, their hatred for him holds no bounds. You can see the seething hatred for him whenever they mention his name..they detest the fact that he’s still breathing our air
good parallels.
Pelosi, daughter of a Mafia-connected Democrat mayor father, bought their votes to impeach. That will be their consolation prize for being dumped at the polls next year. Let that be a lesson to those who believe the campaign promises made by Democrats.

Play their ad from 2018 about “not being a Pelosi Democrat”, play a clip of them voting for impeachment.
