Yes, there’s a “global plan” - at the heart of this plan is the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4) - the same being whom Jesus calls “the prince of this world” in the Gospels.
No doubt many of these people think they’re doing “the right thing”. World peace, world government, all “religions” living in harmony.
Make the United Nations govern the world (GHWB, for example).
It all sounds great. Until Satan installs his Antichrist to rule the world and his False Prophet to establish a One-World Religion.
Oh, most of the world laughs and scoffs. They will find out that it is all too true and not too far off in the future. It’s just a matter of time. I would not presume to set a day nor an hour. But you can see how rapidly things are changing.
And Jesus Christ prophesied things would change rapidly. Birth pangs.

Sheesh - that’s a stretch - Iran was never colonized by Europeans, leave alone the English. It was manipulated by them, but not colonized.
