+1
I say D...but
Hmmmm....
If the Examiner was in front of a classroom of students and picked me to answer the question because I was in another world staring out the window I would have picked my nose and said “I shartzed this morning”
No war for oil. Or plastic water bottles in the ocean. Tea is a American racist form of the patriarchy that founded evil USA.......
LOL! This place expected that sort of reasoning ability? My brother-in-law owns a trailer park, and I don't think the guy could pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel, but he's made a go of it for twenty years. 90% of the job is collecting rent, keeping the trailers maintained and the utiities on, and taking account ledger and all the receipts to H&R Block before April 15th. It's more common sense and elbow grease than it is rocket science.
E.
I thought that rocker motor science was the hard part, for the duration of the stage-burn anyway ...
Well D appears to be the general consensus... and what I got too! It was not that difficult, but I had to re-write it as a greater than/less than math problem to visualize it.
I have to say, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3787984/posts?page=16#16 and http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3787984/posts?page=17#17 tie for the win on this thread... My wife and I were rolling on the floor after reading both of your comments!
My friend could not figure it out, then I told him the answer and he argued with me for 20 minutes... so I sent him this -
A) Gives No Help - The Juice is smaller than the Tea.
B) FALSE, Not Possible - This directly contradicts original given fact #3.
C) Gives No Help - Milk is the smallest, by given facts.
D) This Proves the Tea is the bigger bottle, because Milk was already the smallest of the 4.
E) Gives No Help in Proving it alone - by all given facts Water is largest bottle, so while E is a true statement, it does not prove the question without knowing D also.
Bottle sizes are as follows -
WATER > TEA > JUICE > MILK > OIL
As long as he doesn’t try that test on minorities, or their sympathizers, he can probably get away with it.
mark
D) none of the above
I am just waking up, but it appears the answer is D...because if milk is larger than oil (i.e. oil is smaller than milk) and water is by sequence larger than milk, water is larger than oil.
How much do I get payed and when is break time.
Well, we still have our teeth in our 80’s and don’t want to lose our eyes....husband might need cataract surgery but because of his health might not be able to withstand it.
Mine were already done...
