After Elizabeth Warren's overuse of the word "so" as a sentence preface in the last debate as well as previously as an obvious tell that she is about to be evasive, especially in avoiding answering whether the Medicare For All plan will raise taxes on the middle class, I figured someone on her staff would tell her to drop the "so" shtick. Much to my surprise, Warren returned to last night's Democrat debate chock full of even MORE prefacing of her evasive answers with "so."
This video presents just a small sampling of Warren using "so" to begin sentences in which she acts very obviously evasive. Don't be too surprised to see Warren's evasive "so-so-so" routine put together to create a Trump 2020 campaign commercial.

She’s exhausting. Does every American have a huge healthcare bill every year? Answer: no. There are actually plenty of years that the bill is $0 if you don’t hAve insurance. See, it’s a cost you can avoid. You will not be able to avoid the tax. For all the years you are not sick (from the day you get your first job) this tax will be a cost increase (even if you use her silly notion). Tax means less discretionary money. Healthcare cost is completely discretionary, especially for the young. Dems plan supposed that everyone will have a life crushing disease every year. Such nonsense. Moreover, “free” healthcare doesn’t include “free” prescription drugs (or otherwise). Think the cost of Tylenol will be zero after this is passed? How about cough syrup, free? Go ask a Canadian. This is nonsensical
So your taxes will go up but your health care costs will go down. So, how much HC do you need to use to reach that level since last time that was tried our HC costs went up 25-100%.
Guess what? Not everyone visits the doctor ever year. It’s just not possible for her to say costs will go down since an increase in tax is non discretionary

I go ballistic hearing that from everyone on news today..They can’t talk without beginning their sentences with “so”... It used to be using “so” was the beginning of a question - “So where did you go on vacation?” Today - it’s “So I went to Italy on vacation” when the question hasn’t even been asked.
I swear it started in the federal government and it was in a congressional committee hearing when I first noticed that a whole table of witnesses began their answers with “so”.
I remember when “so” used to be used as sarcasm. ~~SO~~?
