Now, retired CIA Station Chief Brad Johnson explains how the coup against President Trump looks to him like it’s a CIA operation that has Brennan’s fingerprints all over it.

I've said from the outset that, if this was a CIA op, it was very crudely planned at best - way too big, too many moving parts, too easy to track and too many people involved.

If Brennan was the mastermind - and I believe he was - it explains everything. Brad Johnson was an NCS case officer whereas Brennan was an analyst - and not a very good one. This op has all the earmarks of one conceived and executed by bureaucrats, i.e., Brennan, Clapper, Comey, etc.

I haven’t heard much on this lately, but for awhile there was some discussion that coup plotters would be tried through Military Intelligence. Different rules of engagement, less likely to be acquitted by the typical DC jury. But I’m no lawyer so maybe things can’t really work that way.

The CIA is authorized to work above the law. They can and have done all sorts of unethical things. The CIA is also good at covering their tracks. What we are seeing with Brennan is what happens when an unethical person is put in charge of the CIA. The only way Brennan can get cornered is if the other G6 countries cooperate and hand over the correspondence. Even then Brennan can just say I was just doing what the CIA does. The people that were doing all the dirty work for Brennan still work at the CIA.

If the gov is serious, they need to do one thing. Bring the indictments in districts away from DC. Just like with the two Ukraines who were indicted in SDNY for crimes that mostly took place elsewhere, any one of the coup attempt acts that happened elsewhere makes the conspiracy venue lay there. How about the Middle District of Florida say in Jax where I would be happy to volunteer to be an unbiased juror. In fact, they don’t even have to pay me for my service as I can do it by mail in vote.
