The CIA is authorized to work above the law. They can and have done all sorts of unethical things. The CIA is also good at covering their tracks. What we are seeing with Brennan is what happens when an unethical person is put in charge of the CIA. The only way Brennan can get cornered is if the other G6 countries cooperate and hand over the correspondence. Even then Brennan can just say I was just doing what the CIA does. The people that were doing all the dirty work for Brennan still work at the CIA.

Wasn’t one of the founding tenets of the CIA that they would ONLY and EVER operate OUTSIDE the U.S.A.? That would be Square One in the rap sheet against Brennan.
