Why did you include “station” in the title of the article?
Because the original article referred to his as “Former CIA Chief”, which people could construe as head of the CIA. When I saw the headline, I assumed they were referring to someone like Porter Goss, George Tenet, etc. He was a Chief of Station, an active Clandestine Service case officer, not a headquarters bureaucrat.
