Yeah how about that little issue of how Republicans will react to any who vote against Trump.

I think Trump could take on 100 senators with one hand tied behind his back. And he’d love the publicity. Networks forced to cover him again. He has the energy to do that all day for weeks. The senators do not.

When the Democrats' latest savage attack fails (and note tagline), what will they try next? The impeachment of Justice Kavanaugh?

The Party of Hate and Evil is revealing the evil within itself, for all to see, through its viciousness and madness.

Do not forget, people of America, that the Democrat Party is the party of slavery, the Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, segregation, racism, lynching, infanticide, voter fraud, illegal immigration, coup d'état, hate and evil.

Through their present and past actions they have exposed themselves and the evil at the core of this cabal.

Obviously, Democrat politicians and their supporters do not care if they damage America. In fact, the destruction of the USA is their objective.

Observe that the rallying cry of the President whom they are plotting to destroy is "Make America Great!"

As a Democratic impeachment in the House is 100% political with no real “high crimes and misdemeanors”, it only makes sense for the Senate to take a political move as well.

DO IT!

schedule a date for “trial” - then keep postponing it.

I see no reason for that Republicans to take part in this Kabuki theater of the House. The Democrats know they cannot possibly succeed in impeaching Trump on no evidence this is all a media tantrum.

The Democrats have been the party of empty promises and Corruption for generations. Screaming, ranting and raving while they line their pockets they try to generate smoke and mirrors by ALWAYS trying to impeach the standing Republican President.

While everyone trys to put out the dumpster fire, they will slink off to shake down their constituents for bribes and donations.

It’s a lot easier to be Corrupt when peoples attention is elsewhere. Why else would Nancy and her coven or Globalists declare an impeachment inquiry and immediately follow it with a recess? It’s not about Trump, it’s about the cover of darkness they need to operate.

The Republicans need to not be distracted by this worthless crap fest and ignore the monkeys in the house flinging poo by keeping their distance.

Criminally charge Biden and his son, Hillery and her secrets for sale and Barry’s spying ring while putting every one of the false dossier “intelligence “ seditionists in prison.

Ignore the shrieking of the monkey house.

Watch what the Rats do, not what they say.

If they actually vote on Impeachment and get the votes, there will be a trial in the US Senate.

What this means though, is the President’s team can subpoena ANYBODY to testify before Congress, and the list is long and extensive.

In some ways this could be a really GOOD THING, so ten bucks says they won’t do it. Unless they are stupid, and we already know the answer to that.

Politico is baiting McConnell. The last thing the Dems want is a lingering trial.

What misdeeds? I reject the premise of the entire article.

Here is something Mitch could do. He could hold what would be a de facto summary judgement hearing. Have a debate on the floor and vote on whether to proceed to a trial.

Viewing the evidence in a light most favorable to the impeaching party, is there even enough to convict. If the Senate votes “no” then it’s an acquittal. If they vote that there might be, a trial. I have a feeling it comes out “no” but with our GOPe I am not so sure.

Yeah, that would be in character...do nothing. He should be putting out at least one subpoena a week until the election, there’s plenty to go around. But alas, do nothing, is the mantra of the Republicans, especially those in the Senate.

Is it a civil war when a Democrat thief cries out because he is about to be apprehended by the police?

Is it purely Party politics when a Democrat thief cries out because she is about to be apprehended by the police?

Is it fighting for socialism when a Democrat thief cries out because he is about to be apprehended by the police?

Is it journalism when Democrat thieves coverup for other Democrat thieves?

Trump isn’t going anywhere.

How about an atomic bomb thrown into this impeachment mess.

Imagine if RBG were to (God forbid!) pass away or announce her retirement in the next few weeks. No more media impeachment nonsense.

The dems and media would declare Trump could not nominate anyone. He would just laugh in their faces.

Is it really about impeachment? Or a tactic to allow the House to get access to documents that might contain material of political use to Trump opponents - with the ‘benefit’ that refusing to provide the demanded documents is potentially an impeachable process itself.

If McConnell delays this until after the 2020 election, and the Republicans take back the house, can the new Republican house vote to rescind the articles of impeachment? If so, I’d love to see how the left reacts to that.

McConnell has already said if he is sent Articles of Impeachment from the House, he will be obligated to conduct a trial. That doesn’t necessarily means he can’t stage a “Dead on Arrival” trial the same way the Democrat-led Senate did with Clinton’s impeachment.
