If Barack Hussein Obama taught us anything it is that we should believe them when they tell us what they intend to do. So if Joey says he’s going to eliminate fossil fuels by 2050, believe he will try - notwithstanding the fact that actuarial tables would have Joey becoming fossil fuel by 2050.

I’m afraid that it makes a huge difference. The left expects instant gratification, and their street-level soldiers have demonstrated that they are capable of violence. Trump’s re-election, while further enraging them, would only forestall their eventual acquisition of the levers of power.

Small state Delaware was politically different earlier in his career. More conservative Rep. Senator Bill Roth and Joe were its Senators concurrently for most of their terms. I am not surprised he voted a lot of ways then that might be described as conservative. Since then northern DE, nearest to Phila and the state’s majority population, has turned left. “South of the canal” is still conservative. Joe is a politician, and he’ll say anything he needs to to get elected.

Most Democrats will sit by while a small minority engage in political violence. We see this today.
